To kill the Bully in ARC Raiders, target its leg joints with heavy ammo and fight from cover; its armoured body resists fire, while it charges with cluster grenades and a shotgun burst. The Skulker has no confirmed weak point. Keep it in sight and fire when it stops to attack; one media guide says thruster hits slow it. Both arrived with Frozen Trail on October 8, 2026.
Embark’s 2.0 update notes list three new ARC enemies: the Bully, the Skulker and the Hydra. Our Frozen Trail update guide covers the rest of the patch. Embark describes how they behave but has not published health, armour or weak-point data. The tactics below come from the community-run ARC Raiders Wiki and from media guides written from early play, not from official stat tables. Where those sources disagree or only one source says something, we say so: tactics from GAMES.GG are marked as a single media source based on the author’s own play. The Hydra, which sits on top of the Frigate, has its own section in our Frigate guide.
What the Bully and Skulker are
Embark’s Frozen Trail first look calls the Bully an aggressive machine that gallops at your position with a host of lethal attacks, and tells players to use cover and time their response. It describes the Skulker as the opposite: an opportunist that waits at the edge of your vision, strikes with a flurry of blows, and retreats out of sight the moment you are distracted.
The in-game codex entries, as transcribed on the wiki, add that the Bully closes distance with relentless charges and is believed to guard ARC infrastructure. The Skulker strikes with tail-mounted weaponry, then glides away to keep its distance.

How to kill the Bully in ARC Raiders
The wiki, Insider Gaming and GAMES.GG all name the leg joints as the Bully’s weak point. Shots into the armoured torso mostly waste ammo.
- Bring heavy ammo. Both media guides recommend heavy rounds for the joints. GAMES.GG rates heavy-round rifles and precision rifles well, and rates shotguns and fast-firing SMGs poorly against the armour.
- Get to cover when it alerts. At range it throws cluster grenades that split into several explosions; up close it fires a shotgun-style burst.
- Shoot the leg joints between charges. It moves in a hit-and-run pattern, so fire when it pauses rather than chasing it into the open.
- Watch the head while it shoots. The wiki adds that the head opens and exposes a weak spot when the Bully fires. This is a single community source.
The codex also notes that Raiders have exploited the Bully’s habit of chasing too far around tight passages and uneven ground. The wiki lists +500 XP for destroying one.
ARC Raiders Boss KillsGuides agree the leg joints are reliable Bully weak points; the community wiki also reports a head weak point while it fires. From $17.99View offerHow to kill the Skulker in ARC Raiders
The Skulker is harder to pin down, and the sources are thinner. The wiki’s weak-point field is still empty. The only detailed guide we found, from GAMES.GG, is based on the author’s own encounters, so treat it as a single media source based on the author’s own play:
- Keep it in view. It shrinks while moving across the ground, which makes its hitbox smaller and makes it easy to lose in cluttered areas. Embark’s own description warns that a moment’s distraction lets it retreat out of sight.
- Hit the thrusters. GAMES.GG says this slows the Skulker down but does not kill it in one hit.
- Shoot when it stops to aim. It raises its tail weapon before attacking; GAMES.GG suggests destroying that weapon before it fires.
- Use close-to-mid range weapons. It closes distance fast, so long-range builds struggle.
The Skulker’s codex entry says it adapted to low-visibility hazards such as blizzards and storms and has a close relationship with the Frigate, The codex connects the Skulker’s lore to low-visibility hazards and the Frigate, but it does not establish specific spawn rules or locations.

Bully and Skulker loot: Fragmenter and Targeter
Each enemy has a signature drop. The figures below are from the community wiki’s item pages:
| Item | Drops from | Rarity | What it does | Sell price |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Bully Fragmenter | Bully, ARC Courier | Epic | Thrown, it fragments into exploding clusters (40 x8 damage, 5 m radius) | 5,000 |
| Skulker Targeter | Skulker, Courier | Uncommon | Deploys to target nearby Raiders and ARC (9 damage, 25 m range); recycles into Simple Gun Parts and ARC Alloy | 1,000 |
The wiki also lists ARC Alloy and an Advanced ARC Powercell in the Bully’s loot. The wiki also lists the Fragmenter as a research ingredient for the Anvil Blueprint at Research Station 2.
GAMES.GG’s Bait, Fetch, Blast quest guide, a single media source, says Apollo gives the quest after Shani’s Tracks of the Beast. You defeat a Bully on Pendola Pass, loot its Fragmenter and hand it to Apollo, for 10,000 XP, a Wolfpack and a Bully Fragmenter. The wiki has no page for this quest yet.
