The Blue Gate Confiscation Room Key opens one door in the underground tunnels of The Blue Gate: on the ground floor of the Security Wing, next to the Traffic Tunnel, directly below the Headhouse area on the surface. It is an Epic key, weighs 0.25 and sells for 100 Creds; the community wiki lists scavenging as its source and does not currently give a loot list for the room.
Four keys carry the Blue Gate name. This is the Epic one, and its door is in the tunnel network under the map rather than on the surface. If you are holding it and want the door, this page gets you there. The wider list is in our guide to all ARC Raiders key locations.
Before the details: every door position on this page comes from the community-run ARC Raiders Wiki, not from Embark, so it is player mapping rather than an official location. The wiki has a map marker and a photo of the door for this key, which is more than it has for most keys on this map.
Where the Blue Gate Confiscation Room Key door is
The wiki gives the position twice, and the two descriptions agree. The summary line says the key “unlocks a door in the Underground area on Blue Gate. It is located in the Security Wing, next to the Traffic Tunnel below the Headhouse area.” The Location section repeats it in fewer words: “Located in the Blue Gate tunnels. On the ground floor of the Security Wing.”
So the route is: get into the tunnel system, find the Security Wing, stay on its ground floor, and look for the locked door beside the Traffic Tunnel. The Headhouse is the surface landmark you should be underneath.

The wiki also has a photo of the door from the corridor, which is worth a look before you go in. Locked doors in ARC Raiders only tell you which key they take when you are standing at them, so knowing the approach saves a lap of the wing.

The in-game item text, as the wiki quotes it, reads “Unlock a door to the confiscated foods area with the Blue Gate tunnels”. It confirms the tunnels, and nothing more; treat it as flavour, not a loot promise.

Finding the Security Wing in the Blue Gate tunnels
The Blue Gate is a large valley map with an underground complex beneath it, which the wiki describes as “full of deadly ARC machines”. The map unlocks after 18 rounds played, so it is a mid-rotation map rather than a starter one.
The underground has its own overview map on the wiki, and that is the one to memorise for this key: the surface map will not show you the Security Wing or the Traffic Tunnel at all.

One practical note: the wiki describes the underground complex as “full of deadly ARC machines”, so plan the trip with that in mind. The door itself is on the ground floor of the Security Wing.
How to get the Blue Gate Confiscation Room Key
The wiki lists one source for this key: scavenging. It does not name a container that reliably produces it, and it does not list a crafting recipe, trader or quest for it. We have not confirmed any other route in this check, so treat scavenging as the documented way to get it.
For comparison, the wiki lists the Rare Blue Gate Communication Tower Key under both scavenging and quests.
Is the Blue Gate Confiscation Room Key worth carrying?
The item numbers, taken from the wiki infobox with the fields checked against the page markup:
| Field | Value |
|---|---|
| Rarity | Epic |
| Stack size | 1 |
| Weight | 0.25 |
| Sell price | 100 Creds |
| Wiki-listed source | Scavenging |
At 0.25 weight it costs almost nothing to carry, and 100 Creds is the guaranteed floor if you never use it. Keys are consumed on use, so the door is a one-time trade for the key.
What we cannot tell you is what is behind the door. The wiki does not currently provide a loot-container list for this room, and we are not going to invent one. The one general rule that applies is from Embark’s Flashpoint patch notes 1.22.0, which increased locked-room loot “with a scaled increase depending on the key rarity”, and this is an Epic key. That makes the room a reasonable bet, not a known quantity. If you want a Blue Gate door with a documented container list, the wiki has one for the Communication Tower Key room.
Every Blue Gate key compared
Here is the state of what is known about the four Blue Gate keys, so you can decide which ones to keep in the safe pocket:
| Key | Rarity | Door located? | Where | Loot list on the wiki? |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Confiscation Room | Epic | Yes | Underground, Security Wing ground floor, by the Traffic Tunnel | Not listed |
| Communication Tower | Rare | Yes | Basement of Pilgrim’s Peak | Yes (server racks, weapon box, drawers, crates) |
| Cellar | Rare | Partly | “Certain cellar doors” west of Olive Grove | Not listed |
| Village | Uncommon | No | “A door somewhere on Blue Gate” | Not listed |
All four share the same stack size, weight and sell price: 1, 0.25 and 100 Creds. The Confiscation Room Key is the only Epic of the four. The Cellar Key was Uncommon until patch 1.7.0 moved it to Rare, per the wiki’s history table.

Where is the Blue Gate Confiscation Room Key door?
In the Blue Gate underground tunnels, on the ground floor of the Security Wing, next to the Traffic Tunnel and below the Headhouse area. The position comes from the community wiki, which has a map marker and a door photo.
What is in the Confiscation Room?
The wiki does not currently list the room’s containers, so we cannot say. Embark’s 1.22.0 notes say locked-room loot scales with key rarity, and this is an Epic key.
Is the Confiscation Room Key a quest reward?
The wiki lists scavenging as its source and no quest; we did not find one in this check. The Communication Tower Key is the Blue Gate key the wiki also lists under quests.
Is the key used up when I open the door?
Yes. Keys are consumed on use; Embark’s patch 1.11.0 fixed an exploit that let players keep room keys after using them.
How do I unlock The Blue Gate?
The wiki states the map unlocks after completing 18 rounds.
