A GTA Online Bail Office costs $1,650,000 in Paleto Bay up to $2,620,000 in Downtown Vinewood, plus $750,000 for each of two optional agents. The GTA Wiki currently lists $52,500 to $60,000 for a Standard bounty brought in alive and $180,000 to $190,000 for the daily Most Wanted target. On the GTA Wiki’s provisional payout figures, the cheapest office pays for itself after roughly 28 to 32 live Standard bounties.
The Bail Office is the property behind Bottom Dollar Bail Enforcement, the bounty hunting business Maude Eccles hands over to you. Rockstar added it in GTA Online: Bottom Dollar Bounties on June 25, 2024. Unlike the bunker, it does not produce stock for you to sell. The money comes from bounty missions you play yourself and from agents you send out.
Rockstar’s announcement describes what the office does but gives no prices or payouts. The prices and rewards below come from the community-run GTA Wiki, which records the Maze Bank Foreclosures listings and mission rewards; treat them as the best available documentation, not an official table.
GTA Online Bail Office locations and prices
After Maude’s phone call, the office is bought from Maze Bank Foreclosures. There are five locations. Four are in Los Santos; Paleto Bay is the only one in Blaine County.
| Bail Office | Where | Price |
|---|---|---|
| Paleto Bay | Behind Willie’s Supermarket, Paleto Boulevard | $1,650,000 |
| Davis | Next to Herr Kutz Barber, Carson Avenue | $2,000,000 |
| Del Perro | Behind The Grain of Truth, Red Desert Avenue | $2,350,000 |
| Mission Row | Across from Mission Row Police Station, Atlee Street | $2,390,000 |
| Downtown Vinewood | Next to Pop’s Pills, Alta Street | $2,620,000 |

Every location has the same bounties, the same payouts and the same optional extras, so the $970,000 spread between Paleto Bay and Downtown Vinewood buys position only. That position matters more here than for most businesses, because a target brought in alive has to be driven back to your office in the bounty van. The wiki’s mission pages show Standard bounties spawning all over the map, from Paleto Bay to La Mesa and Rockford Hills. We have not timed routes from each office, so this is reasoning from the map, not a measured comparison: a Los Santos office is likely to mean shorter drives on average, while Paleto Bay saves $350,000 over the next cheapest.
The biggest optional cost is staff. The wiki lists the two Bail Enforcement Agents at $750,000 each, or $1,500,000 for both, which makes a Paleto Bay office with both agents $3,150,000. The other upgrades are listed on GTABase’s Bail Enforcement Office page:
| Upgrade | Cost |
|---|---|
| Style: Penal Vintage | Free |
| Style: Criminal Patterns | $125,000 |
| Style: Courtroom Teak | $145,000 |
| Personal Quarters | $295,000 |
| Gun Locker | $175,000 |
| Armor Plating (Bottom Dollar van) | $125,000 |
| Bail Enforcement Agent | $750,000 each ($1,500,000 for two) |
A Downtown Vinewood office with every top upgrade and both agents comes to $4,860,000. None of the cosmetic upgrades change what a bounty pays. GTABase also says agents shorten the time it takes to process a target you bring in alive; how much time that saves is not documented, so we have not turned it into an earnings figure.
GTA V Money - PC (Enhanced)The office runs from $1,650,000 to $2,620,000, and each of the two agents adds $750,000.From $15.90View offerWhat the Bail Office includes
According to Rockstar, each office comes with a Bail Enforcement System computer, a holding cell, CCTV access, a safe, and a garage for two personal vehicles plus the Bottom Dollar van. The computer lists three Standard Targets and one Most Wanted Target at a time.

The wiki adds that personal quarters make the office a spawn point, and that Maude’s daughter Jenette works as your assistant and briefs each target. To use the bounty computer you must be registered as a VIP, CEO or MC President, in any Free Mode session type, including invite-only.
Bail Office bounty payouts
These reward figures come from the GTA Wiki’s mission pages, not from Rockstar. The wiki raised them by 50% in a May 2026 edit labelled a permanent payout boost. We could not find the Rockstar post behind that change, so treat the current figures as provisional. Before the edit the wiki listed $35,000 to $40,000 for Standard targets and $120,000 to $130,000 for Most Wanted.
| Target | How often | Players | Alive (wiki, current) | Dead (75% less) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Standard bounty (6 missions, 18 targets) | See below | 1 to 8 | $52,500 to $60,000 | $13,125 to $15,000 |
| Most Wanted (6 targets, one a day) | Once per day | 1 to 4 | $180,000 to $190,000 | $45,000 to $47,500 |
| Madrazo Hit (daily) | Once per day | One target per player | Not applicable (kill only) | $20,000 + $10,000 with Madrazo’s weapon |
The dead column is our own arithmetic: the wiki says killing a target deducts 75% of the reward, and Rockstar says every target is “considerably more valuable alive than dead.” The wiki suggests a stun gun, or injuring the target by shooting the body, to bring them in alive.

There is also a one-time bonus. Each of the six Most Wanted targets has an award that pays $25,000 the first time you complete that mission as leader, so the full set is worth $150,000 once. Madrazo Hits, added in a July 2024 follow-up, pay $20,000 and 500 RP per daily target and do not require CEO, VIP or MC status.
How many bounties you can run per day
Standard Targets are repeatable. Rockstar’s launch post says players can “wrangle as many Standard Targets as they want,” while the GTA Wiki says the board offers up to three per 48-minute rotation (one in-game day). The two fit together: there is no daily cap, only a refresh cycle. Most Wanted is different: it can be completed once per real-world day.

Live targets can only be transported in the Bail Enforcement van, which the wiki says is sent to you when you secure the target, so you can reach the target in any vehicle. A mission fails if the van is destroyed with the target inside.
Bail Office agents: passive income
The two optional agents are the office’s only passive income. Once hired, you visit them at their desks and send them out; the wiki says they return after 48 minutes and their earnings go into the office safe. Neither Rockstar nor the wiki publishes how much an agent brings back per trip, so we cannot say how long $1,500,000 of staff takes to pay back. The only hint is an in-game award, Step Two: Profit, whose top tier is for earning $1,000,000 from agent income.
Agent income has been doubled in past bonus weeks: in August 2024 according to the wiki, and from December 5 to 9, 2024 according to Rockstar, which also cut Bail Offices and their upgrades by 40% that week.
Is the Bail Office worth it in 2026?
On the wiki’s current figures, yes, if you like short combat missions. Divide the cheapest office’s $1,650,000 by the $52,500 to $60,000 Standard payout and you get 27.5 to 31.4 bounties, so roughly 28 to 32 live Standard targets pay for the building. A Most Wanted target each day speeds that up; six Most Wanted runs at $180,000 to $190,000 plus the one-time $25,000 awards add up to $1,230,000 to $1,290,000. That assumes every target comes back alive and no bonus week is running.
The trade-off is that nothing earns while you are away, apart from agents whose payout is undocumented. If you want money that builds up while you do other things, the nightclub is the passive option we have covered; the bunker needs supplies, while Special Cargo requires sourcing crates; both then require sell missions. The Bail Office has no sell missions, no stock that can be lost, and works in invite-only sessions, which is its main appeal.
Bonus weeks change the maths. Rockstar doubled Standard and Most Wanted payouts from September 19 to 25, 2024, and GTABase reported another 2X week (4X for GTA+ members) with 40% off offices and upgrades in April 2026. No Bail Office bonus appears in the September 24 to 30, 2026 weekly update, so no weekly Bail Office multiplier is active and the base payouts remain the GTA Wiki’s provisional current figures.

How much does a Bail Office cost in GTA Online?
$1,650,000 in Paleto Bay up to $2,620,000 in Downtown Vinewood, per the GTA Wiki. The two optional agents cost $750,000 each.
How much does a Bail Office bounty pay?
The wiki currently lists $52,500 to $60,000 for a Standard target and $180,000 to $190,000 for a Most Wanted target, both delivered alive. Killing the target cuts the reward by 75%. These figures reflect a May 2026 increase that we could not confirm with Rockstar.
Is there a cooldown on Bail Office bounties?
Most Wanted can be completed once per real-world day. Standard Targets are repeatable: Rockstar says there is no limit, and the wiki says the board shows up to three per 48-minute rotation.
Which Bail Office location is best?
They all earn the same. Live targets are driven back to your office, so a Los Santos location is likely to mean shorter drives; Paleto Bay is the cheapest. We have not timed the routes.
Can I run the Bail Office solo or in an invite-only session?
Yes. Standard bounties allow 1 to 8 players and Most Wanted 1 to 4, and the wiki says the computer works in any Free Mode session type. You must be a VIP, CEO or MC President.
