The GTA Online update for October 1–7 opens the Halloween event with 3X GTA$ and RP on Halloween Survivals, Slasher, Community Races and the San Andreas Super Sport Series. Bail Office targets and Dispatch Work pay 2X. Secure two Bail Office Bounties for this week’s GTA$100,000 reward and Green Vintage Skull Mask.

GTA Online weekly update dates: October 1 to 7, 2026
Rockstar’s Halloween announcement went up on October 1, 2026 at 10:00 UTC, and the event it describes runs until November 4 at 10:00 UTC. Inside that window Rockstar splits the Weekly Challenges and the free clothing into five weeks, so this page follows the first one.

The start and end times are the post and event-metadata timestamps, not a weekly switch-over time Rockstar prints in the article. Converted by us, 10:00 UTC is 6:00 a.m. EDT, 3:00 a.m. PDT, 11:00 a.m. BST and 6:00 p.m. in Hong Kong. Rockstar does not print a separate switch-over hour for each week; the weekly dates follow the October 1 start, so the next change is expected on October 8. The September Business Rivalries event, with its 10X Weekly Challenge prizes, ended on September 30.
3X GTA$ and RP this week: Survivals, Slasher and Halloween races
Four groups of activities pay triple GTA$ and RP from October 1, and Rockstar lists all four under the event that runs to November 4:
- Halloween Survivals: the returning Ludendorff Cemetery Survival in North Yankton, the Alien Survivals and the Cayo Perico Survival.
- Slasher: every Slasher mode in the Featured Series, including the version aboard the Ramius submarine. One player has a shotgun, everyone else has a flashlight, and if the hunted survive three minutes the roles flip.
- Community Race Series: the Halloween-themed races, including the Zombie Town Circuit, paying 3X through November 4.
- San Andreas Super Sport Series: Random Transform Races and the Hotring races.
The Community Race Series is explicitly 3X through November 4. Rockstar presents the other three 3X groups in its month-long Halloween announcement but does not attach the same explicit end date to each one, so check the October 8 update before assuming they continue unchanged. The October 1 to 7 Weekly Challenge is to secure two Bail Office Bounties. The reward is the Green Vintage Skull Mask and GTA$100,000. The same work is boosted at the same time: Standard and Most Wanted Bail Office Targets pay 2X GTA$ and RP all October, and so does Dispatch Work for Vincent Effenburger.
The challenge is the first of five. Rockstar adds an extra GTA$2,000,000, delivered within 72 hours, for completing all five Weekly Challenges between October 1 and November 4. By our addition of the five weekly cash prizes in the table above, a player who finishes every one collects GTA$700,000 from the challenges plus that GTA$2,000,000 bonus. Unless Rockstar later offers a catch-up, missing this week’s challenge would prevent completion of all five, and with it the GTA$2,000,000; the October 1 post does not describe one. Free items and 2X events this week
Playing GTA Online between October 1 and 7 unlocks the Cheerleader Massacre 3 T-Shirt. The other Halloween activities available in the October 1 update are:

The Clone Slasher and the driverless Declasse Tornado Custom phantom car are back after dark, and Peyote Plants are growing across Southern San Andreas. Rockstar’s post does not list this week’s Podium vehicle, Prize Ride or Gun Van stock, so none is claimed here; check the Diamond Casino and the in-game map before you plan around them.
Discounts: 40% off Halloween vehicles and 30% off nine more
Five Halloween vehicles are 40% off: the LCC Sanctus (Motorcycle), Albany Brigham (Muscle), Albany Lurcher (Muscle), Albany Fränken Stange (Sports Classic) and Declasse Tornado Rat Rod (Sports Classic). Rockstar lists them under the Halloween event but gives no separate end date for the 40% sale, so whether it lasts to November 4 is not confirmed.
For October 1 to 7 only, nine more are 30% off: the Declasse Vigero ZX (Muscle), Sea Sparrow (Helicopter), Nagasaki Buzzard Attack Chopper (Helicopter), Lampadati Komoda (Sport), Western Powersurge (Motorcycle), Benefactor Schlagen GT (Sports), Ocelot Ardent (Sports Classic), Nagasaki Ultralight (Plane) and Grotti Brioso 300 (Compact). Rockstar’s post gives percentages, not sale prices, so check the in-game websites for the final figure.
GTA+ members can still claim the Pegassi Horus supercar free from The Vinewood Car Club through October 7. From October 8 members can claim a free Pegassi Oppressor with the Skulls livery; Rockstar says the rest of the October GTA+ benefits will be posted on October 8. The monthly GTA$500,000 deposit continues.
Last week: Nightclub bonuses, September 24 to 30
The final Business Rivalries week has ended. From September 24 to 30 the Elysian Island Nightclub was free at Maze Bank Foreclosures, Nightclub Goods Missions and QuickiePharm Deliveries paid 2X GTA$ and RP, Management Missions gave 2X Popularity, and the Weekly Challenge paid GTA$1,000,000 for selling GTA$1,000,000 across all businesses. The claim window for the free Penaud La Coureuse also closed on September 30. None of those bonuses carry into October. Rockstar’s post and its event metadata are timestamped October 1, 2026 at 10:00 UTC, and the event window runs to November 4, 2026 at 10:00 UTC. The Weekly Challenges and free items change weekly inside that window.

No. That was part of the September Business Rivalries event, which ended on September 30. October’s Weekly Challenges pay between GTA$100,000 and GTA$250,000 each, plus the GTA$2,000,000 completion bonus.
