The GTA 6 Launch Trailer runs 90 seconds and has only seven spoken lines, from “I got in some trouble in the Army” to “Just gotta get through it”. It opens in the Keys at Brian’s Marina, shows a vault with banknotes in the air, a man aiming a scoped rifle and a strap device on an ankle, and ends on “November 19, 2026 · Pre-order now”, captured on PS5.

Rockstar posted the trailer on October 15, 2026, with a Newswire post and on its YouTube channel at 6:00 AM PT. We went through it frame by frame, and read the dialogue from Rockstar’s own English subtitle track. Everything below is what is on screen. Where an outlet has offered a reading of a shot, we say whose reading it is.

GTA 6 launch trailer: every line of dialogue

The trailer is carried mostly by the song “Flower in a Hurricane”. Rockstar’s English subtitles show seven lines in total, all in the first 11 seconds and between 1:02 and 1:07:

TimeLine (Rockstar subtitles)On screen
0:03“I got in some trouble in the Army.”A pickup towing a jet ski on a highway into the Keys
0:05“Didn’t leave on the best of terms.”Brian’s Marina from above
0:07“They don’t give loans or, anything, to people like me.”A man polishing a boat hull
0:10“This is a free call from Lucia Caminos.”The same man answering a phone in the boat yard
1:02“Are we gonna be okay?”A group standing over a man on a rooftop at night, then a woman on a balcony at sunset
1:04“We’ve stuck together through everything.”A man in a vest at night, lit green
1:06“Just gotta get through it.”A couple embracing on a balcony at sunset

Times are approximate to the half second. The trailer does not caption who is speaking, so we have not attached names to the lines.

Places you can read in the trailer: The Keys and Brian’s Marina

The first four seconds follow a truck and jet ski past a billboard that reads “Welcome to The Keys”. The next shot is an aerial view of a boat storage yard with a rooftop sign reading “Brian’s Marina” and a banner reading “Rent a Rack 786-555-0109”. A blimp is visible over the water in the background.

Other readable signs are a Globe Oil gas station (0:26) and a “Sheriff” marking on the back of a police SUV at night (1:10). Vice City’s beach and skyline appear in the biplane shot at 0:55 and behind the end card.

Heists and action in the GTA 6 launch trailer

Two women with bags walk through an open round vault door into a smoky vault with banknotes in the air

The middle of the trailer is a run of short shots with no dialogue. In order, the ones that can be described plainly are:

  • 0:27: armed figures wading through a swamp at sunset
  • 0:30 to 0:33: a man in a plate carrier in a helicopter doorway over the city at night, then an armed figure crouched in a smoky hangar
  • 0:35: two women walking through a round vault door into a vault with banknotes in the air
  • 0:48: a dirt bike ridden along an elevated rail line beside a train
  • 0:53: a man on a rooftop at night with an explosion behind him
  • 1:00: two women in pink balaclavas holding rifles
  • 1:09: glass bursting from a skyscraper under a helicopter searchlight
  • 1:12: a man aiming a scoped rifle over the night skyline
  • 1:13 to 1:15: two people dropping into a lit swimming pool, seen from below

Rockstar’s Newswire describes the story behind it: when “an easy score goes wrong”, Jason and Lucia end up “in the middle of a criminal conspiracy stretching across the state of Leonida”. Which shot belongs to which mission is not stated.

The ankle device shot

At 0:51 a low camera shows bare feet on a shower floor. One ankle wears a black strap device with a red light. GameDaily identifies it as an ankle monitor and says that means the wearer is on probation. That is GameDaily’s reading: the trailer does not say whose ankle it is, and Rockstar has not commented.

Vice City beach, biplane and the end card

Lighter moments sit between the action: a wing-walker on a biplane trailing pink smoke over a crowded beach (0:55), a bodybuilder at a cable machine (0:57), a man on a couch holding a snake (0:58) and an iguana in a road (0:20).
