The song in the GTA 6 Launch Trailer is “Flower in a Hurricane” by Justice, featuring Tame Impala, SZA and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard. The trailer, released on October 15, 2026, was its debut. Justice composed the GTA 6 original score, and the single is out now and will appear on GTA VI: The Album, due November 19.
Rockstar announced it in a Newswire post on October 15, 2026, which says the Launch Trailer features “new music from electronic duo Justice, composers of the original score from Grand Theft Auto VI.” The same credit is on Rockstar’s Launch Trailer page.

Justice wrote the GTA 6 score

Rockstar’s Newswire calls Justice an “electronic duo” and the “composers of the original score”, and the official GTA VI music page has a section headed “Official Score by Justice”. The same post says to “stay tuned for more information on the music of Grand Theft Auto VI, including the official score album”, so a separate score album is planned, with no date yet.
Rockstar has not said whether other composers worked on the score, or whether “Flower in a Hurricane” itself plays in the game. Those points are Not confirmed.
Where to listen to Flower in a Hurricane
The music page links the track in two places: a “Listen Now” button in the score section, and a “Play Full Track” link in its list of singles. Both are links out to the song on streaming services. The trailer itself is on Rockstar’s site and the Rockstar Games YouTube channel.
What else the GTA 6 launch trailer shows

The trailer runs 90 seconds and went up on the Rockstar Games YouTube channel at 6:00 AM PT on October 15, 2026. It is carried almost entirely by the song: Rockstar’s English subtitles show only seven spoken lines, including:
- “I got in some trouble in the Army.”
- “Didn’t leave on the best of terms.”
- “They don’t give loans or, anything, to people like me.”
- “This is a free call from Lucia Caminos.”
- “We’ve stuck together through everything.”
- “Just gotta get through it.”
Among the places on screen are a “Brian’s Marina” boat storage yard, a billboard reading “The Keys”, and Vice City’s beach and skyline, with Jason and Lucia together in several shots. Rockstar’s own summary of the story is in the Newswire post: when “an easy score goes wrong”, the pair end up “in the middle of a criminal conspiracy stretching across the state of Leonida”.

The end card reads “November 19, 2026 · Pre-order now”, with the ESRB Mature 17+ rating and a PS5 logo marked “Captured on PS5”. It does not say whether that was a standard PS5 or a PS5 Pro. The video also opens and closes on PlayStation cards, one of which reads “Plays best on PS5”. Every line and shot is listed in our GTA 6 launch trailer breakdown.
Is Flower in a Hurricane on GTA VI: The Album?

Yes. Rockstar’s Newswire says the “new standalone Justice single” is “also available on Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album, the official soundtrack”, and the music page lists it fourth among the album singles. The full tracklist has not been published, so its track number is not known.
The album itself comes out on November 19, the same day as the game, and can be pre-saved or pre-ordered on vinyl and CD. As of October 16, the music page lists nine singles:
- “That’s It” by Yung Lean
- “RHYNO” by Travis Scott
- “Sexy Magic” by CA7RIEL & Paco Amoroso, Pink Pantheress, Fred again.. & Etienne de Crécy
- “Flower in a Hurricane” by Justice, featuring Tame Impala, SZA and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard
- “Last Thing You Need” by Morgan Wallen
- “Suzuki” by Fuerza Regida
- “Macacoa 2000” by Rauw Alejandro
