The Fortnite Dek skin costs 1,500 V-Bucks with the Predator’s Sword Slash emote, or 2,000 V-Bucks for the full Predator: Badlands Bundle with Thia and Dek’s Plasma Sword, according to Item Shop data mirrored by Fortnite-API. It first appeared on October 29, 2026, and that data schedules it to leave on November 4 at 23:59 UTC (6:59 PM ET). Epic has not announced the set.
This guide lists every Predator: Badlands item and its price, whether the bundle is worth it, when the set leaves, and which V-Bucks pack covers it.
Fortnite Dek skin price and every Predator: Badlands item
Epic does not publish Item Shop prices, and it has not posted a news article about this set. The prices below come from the October 29 Item Shop as recorded by Fortnite-API, a community-run service that mirrors Epic’s shop data. Check your own Item Shop before you buy, because that is the price you will be charged.
| Item | Type | Price (V-Bucks) |
|---|---|---|
| Dek, with Predator’s Sword Slash | Outfit (Epic) and emote | 1,500 |
| Thia | Back bling (Rare) | 600 |
| Dek’s Plasma Sword | Pickaxe (Rare) | 800 |
| Predator’s Sword Slash | Emote, sold on its own | 300 |
| Predator: Badlands Bundle | Dek, the emote, Thia and the Plasma Sword | 2,000 |
The in-game descriptions are short: Dek is “Dek of the Yautja”, the Plasma Sword is “The Yautja’s sword of choice”, and Thia is “Property of the Weyland-Yutani Corporation”. All four items belong to the Predator Badlands set.
Fortnite 2,400 V-Bucks2,400 V-Bucks covers the 2,000 V-Buck Predator: Badlands Bundle with 400 left over. From $15.99View offerIs the Predator: Badlands Bundle worth it?
The shop data lists the bundle’s full value at 2,900 V-Bucks, which is the Dek listing (1,500), Thia (600) and the Plasma Sword (800) added together. In the shop data, the 1,500 Dek listing contains two items, the outfit and the Predator’s Sword Slash emote, so the emote is not counted twice. The bundle at 2,000 is 900 less than that 2,900.
- Dek only: 1,500, and you still get the emote.
- Dek plus Thia: 2,100 if you add up the two single-item prices (the shop has no Dek-and-Thia set), which is more than the 2,000 bundle.
- Dek plus the Plasma Sword: 2,300 by the same single-item sum, versus 2,000 for everything.
- The full set: 2,000 instead of 2,900, a saving of 900.
In short, if you want Dek and either accessory, the bundle is cheaper. If you own nothing from the set and only want the outfit, buy Dek on his own.
Does the Dek skin have a helmet style?
Yes. The cosmetic data lists one style channel for Dek, a helmet with two options named “off” and “on”. The shop render shows Dek with the helmet off. The data does not list any other styles.
When the Dek skin leaves the Fortnite Item Shop
| Event | UTC | US Eastern (converted) | US Pacific (converted) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Added to the Item Shop | October 29, 2026, 00:00 | October 28, 8:00 PM | October 28, 5:00 PM |
| Scheduled to leave | November 4, 2026, 23:59 | November 4, 6:59 PM | November 4, 3:59 PM |
Both times come from the shop data. US clocks fall back on November 1, so the leave time is in standard time (UTC-5 for Eastern, UTC-8 for Pacific). October 29 is the first date in Dek’s shop history, and every Predator: Badlands listing has the same leave time. Epic can extend or shorten a listing, and no return date has been announced.
The leave date falls after Chapter 7 Season 4 ends on November 1, so the set should stay in the shop across the season change. V-Bucks are not tied to a season, so anything you buy before November 1 still works after it. Our Chapter 7 Season 4 end date guide covers what changes that day.
How many V-Bucks you need for the Dek skin
Epic sells V-Bucks in four standard packs: 800, 2,400, 4,500 and 12,500, according to its V-Bucks pricing notice. Matched against the prices above:
- Dek (1,500): 800 is not enough. The 2,400 pack covers it with 900 left.
- The bundle (2,000): the 2,400 pack covers it with 400 left.
- The bundle plus another Halloween skin: the FNAF bundle is 4,500 and leaves on October 31, so both together need more than one 4,500 pack.
Our Fortnite V-Bucks prices guide compares the packs, and the FNAF skins guide covers that set.
