Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4 Battle Pass deadline: November 1, Eastern Time

The season started on August 20, 2026 (Epic Games, Fortnite Override announcement, August 20, 2026). Epic’s Battle Pass page gives the pass deadline as a date plus a time zone label only: “Unlock in-game rewards by earning XP in any Fortnite experience. Ends November 1, 2026 Eastern Time” (Epic Games, Override Battle Pass page, checked September 17, 2026). That page dates the Battle Pass, not the season changeover itself; the two usually line up, but Epic has not published a separate Season 4 end time. Because there is no clock time, this guide does not convert the deadline into other time zones; any hour you see elsewhere is an estimate until Epic posts downtime details.

Both major Fortnite wikis list October 31 as the season end. Epic’s Battle Pass page is the only official date available, so this guide uses November 1 (Eastern Time) as the cut-off until Epic publishes changeover details.

After the pass expires, Epic’s rule for its items is: “The items in a Battle Pass may be available for purchase in the Fortnite Shop at least 18 months after the Battle Pass expires” (Epic Games, Battle Pass page). Epic does not say what happens to levelled-but-unclaimed rewards when the pass ends, so the safe assumption is to claim everything you have earned before November 1.

Override Battle Pass: cost, Battle Bundle and XP per level

Epic’s current prices, from its Battle Pass page and its V-Bucks price announcement:

• Battle Pass: 800 V-Bucks, or included with Fortnite Crew. Completing it awards up to 800 V-Bucks, “enough to get the next one at no extra cost” (Epic Games, Battle Pass page).
• Battle Bundle (Battle Pass + first 25 levels): 2,600 V-Bucks. Epic’s FAQ: “the Battle Bundle cost will lower from 2,800 to 2,600 V-Bucks. The Battle Bundle gives you the Battle Pass AND the first 25 Levels unlocked instantly” (Epic Games, Fortnite V-Bucks Price Increase).
• No V-Bucks in Bonus Rewards. Under the same price change, “There are no longer V-Bucks in the Bonus Rewards of the Pass” (Epic Games, Fortnite V-Bucks Price Increase).
• Fortnite Crew “includes the Battle Pass, OG Pass, Music Pass, LEGO Pass, plus a monthly Crew Pack and V-Bucks” (Epic Games, Battle Pass page).

Epic’s page does not state the XP per level. The community wiki records 80,000 XP per Battle Pass level this season, and says up to 99 rewards can be bought individually for 150 V-Bucks each (Fortnite Wiki, weirdgloop, checked September 17, 2026); treat both as community data.

Override Battle Pass Outfits and styles

Epic’s Battle Pass page lists eight Outfits with a Fortnite style and an alternate style each: K1tty W1ns, Phantom, Grace Crowne, Geno, Sonic the Hedgehog (Super Sonic), Mali, Wrixel and Bastian. Sonic unlocks when you get the pass, “joined by the Tails Sidekick” (Epic Games, August 20, 2026). Epic explains how the rest open: “Level up to gain access to each page’s rewards. The special Styles require completing Quests that become available after claiming other rewards” (Epic Games, Battle Pass page). The wiki’s transcription of the in-game screen places the character sets at levels 10, 35, 60 and 85, with Geno as the last regular set (Fortnite Wiki, weirdgloop).

Two styles were tied to how you got the pass (Epic Games, August 20, 2026): Infiltrator Grace Crowne for buying before August 27 at 11:59 PM ET, which has closed, and Peril Peak Mali: “Gift the Pass to a friend at any point in the Season and you’ll both get the Peril Peak Mali Outfit and accessories”, which stays available until the pass deadline.

Bonus Rewards listed for September 17

The wiki’s copy of the in-game Bonus Rewards tab shows items marked “Unlocks on 17 Sept” with the prerequisite “Claim all Geno rewards to unlock” (Fortnite Wiki, weirdgloop, checked September 17, 2026). Epic’s own pages do not describe the bonus tab, so treat the date and prerequisite as community-transcribed. If they are right, players below the Geno set in mid-September are the ones most likely to miss the bonus tab by November 1.

Ways to earn more Battle Pass XP before November 1

These come from Epic’s announcement, Battle Pass page and community update notes, or from the Fortnite Wiki where Epic has not documented the detail. None of them is an exploit.

• Earn XP in any mode. Epic’s page says pass XP comes from “earning XP in any Fortnite experience”, not only Battle Royale.
• Override Consoles. Epic: they “appear in every match and let you rewrite the rules for the entire server, but you have to get there first” (Epic Games, August 20, 2026). The wiki lists a “More XP” effect that increases XP from eliminations, looting and storm survival (Fortnite Wiki, Fandom). Activating a console broadcasts your location.
• Lobby Hacks. Epic confirms “real-world Lobby Hacks” and weekly new ones: “Cheat Code Mondays bring boosted Sprite rewards and a new Lobby Hack” (Epic Games, August 20 and 27, 2026). The wiki lists the code OverrideXP as granting 40,000 XP (Fortnite Wiki, Fandom, checked September 17, 2026); that value is community data.
• Ranked is not a Sprite route. Sprites were vaulted from Ranked Battle Royale on August 28 “while we evaluate whether gathering Sprites makes sense for the Ranked loot pool” (Epic Games, Override Community Update Notes, updated August 28, 2026).

Using the wiki’s 80,000 XP per level, a player at level 50 on September 17 needs about 2.8 million XP to reach the level-85 set before November 1. The OverrideXP code, if it grants 40,000 XP as listed, covers half of one level.

Buying the Override pass late: V-Bucks, Battle Bundle, Crew or a gift

Four routes to the pass still work before November 1. Buying it for 800 V-Bucks gives you every reward you can level to before the end. The 2,600 V-Bucks Battle Bundle adds the first 25 levels instantly. Fortnite Crew includes the pass alongside the OG, Music and LEGO passes. A gift from a friend works too, and both of you receive the Peril Peak Mali style. None of these changes the XP needed per level, so a late purchase only pays off if the remaining levels fit before the November 1 pass deadline.
