Battlefield 6 dog tags come from four places. The campaign hides 30 collectible dog tags across its nine missions, and collecting them unlocks two separate dog tags you can equip. Most multiplayer dog tags come from earning one accolade a set number of times. The rest are event, promotion, battle pass and store-bundle rewards. You equip them from Profile, then Edit Playercard.
How many campaign dog tags are in Battlefield 6?
There are 30 collectible dog tags in the Battlefield 6 campaign, spread across all nine campaign missions. Each mission has two to four. The per-mission counts below come from the community-run Battlefield Wiki, and the PowerPyx campaign collectibles guide gives the same nine numbers. When you are close to one, the wiki says, a noticeable sparkle appears.
| Mission | Dog tags | Reward for collecting all of them |
|---|---|---|
| 1. Always Faithful | 3 | Dead Center dog tag |
| 2. The Rock | 3 | Danger Ahead player card background |
| 3. Operation Gladius | 3 | Elite Raider player card icon |
| 4. Night Raid | 4 | Urban Sprawl Espada Recon skin |
| 5. No Sleep | 3 | Gridlock The Desert Locusts Support skin |
| 6. Moving Mountains | 4 | 15 Minutes Career XP Booster |
| 7. Nile Guard | 2 | Canopy Drop vehicle camo |
| 8. Operation Ember Strike | 4 | Gridlock The Desert Locusts Assault skin |
| 9. Always Forward | 4 | Urban Sprawl Espada Engineer skin |
| All nine missions | 30 | Winner Take All dog tag |
The rewards column comes from the wiki’s list of campaign challenge assignments. Two of these rewards are dog tags in their own right: collecting all three collectibles in Always Faithful unlocks the Dead Center dog tag, and collecting all 30 unlocks the Winner Take All dog tag. Both are separate, equippable dog tags for your player card; the 30 tags you pick up in the missions are campaign collectibles. One oddity: the wiki’s Night Raid assignment text says “Operation Gladius”, which looks like a copy error on its page, since the reward row sits under Night Raid.

Always Faithful dog tag locations
The wiki only writes out locations for the first mission, so here are those three:
- After the turret section, on the way to meet the sniper squad, check the beige crate between the two resupply crates just before you reach them.
- In the room where you plant the second C4, look behind the pillar on the left. The tag is on a board.
- After you rappel to the roof and turn left, check the bricks behind the ammo resupply, between two coffee cups.
For the other eight missions, the PowerPyx guide has a written walkthrough in mission order. The wiki also names each soldier on the 30 tags, from Thomas Peeters of the Belgian Armed Forces in Always Faithful to Eric Macleod of Pax Armata Special Operations in Always Forward.
Can you miss campaign dog tags?
No. PowerPyx says nothing is missable, because every mission can be replayed from the main menu. It also notes that the pause menu in each mission tracks which tags you have found, in the order they appear. That makes a replay quick: open the pause menu, see which number you are missing, and head to that part of the level.

Most multiplayer dog tags are accolade rewards. An accolade is an in-match feat, and each of these dog tags asks you to earn one specific accolade a set number of times. The wiki’s March 2026 list has 79 accolade dog tags. Shacknews, writing on October 24, 2025, counted 75 dog tags in total at launch and grouped them into 20 bronze, 51 silver and 4 gold tiers. You can check your progress from your Profile screen by selecting Dog Tags at the bottom left, Shacknews says.
The counts below are from the wiki. The descriptions of what each accolade asks for are from Shacknews, so treat them as one media source, not an official EA table.
| Dog tag | Accolade count | What the accolade asks for | Shacknews tier |
|---|---|---|---|
| Rendezook | 1 | Destroy an enemy aircraft with the unguided rocket launcher after leaving and re-entering your own aircraft in mid-air | Gold |
| Spearhead | 3 | Be the first in your squad to kill an enemy | Silver |
| Gunslinger | 8 | Kill two enemies within four seconds with different weapons | Silver |
| Headhunter | 30 | Get three headshot kills in one life | Silver |
| Field Surgeon | 40 | Revive five teammates in one life | Silver |
| Sentinel | 50 | Get three defensive kills or assists in one life | Silver |
| Reanimator | 60 | Revive a teammate within five seconds of reviving two others | Bronze |
| Avenger | 65 | Kill an enemy within five seconds of them killing a squadmate | Silver |
| Long Shot | 80 | Get a 75 m+ projectile kill that is not a Marksman kill | Silver |
| Marauder | 150 | Kill an enemy within eight seconds of your fourth kill | Gold |
Two things stand out. First, the count is not the whole story: Rendezook needs only one accolade but is one of Shacknews’ four gold tags, because the stunt itself is hard. Second, several tags follow the class you play. There are Assault, Engineer, Recon and Support Expert tags at 30 accolades each, and revive tags such as Field Surgeon and Reanimator reward reviving teammates. Headshot tags reward the guns you already shoot well with; our Battlefield 6 assault rifle rankings compare time-to-kill if you are choosing a rifle for that.
Are there dog tags for weapon mastery or rank?
Not in the wiki’s list. None of its dog tags is tied to career rank or weapon mastery. On the wiki, rank rewards are player card backgrounds instead, such as Rookie at rank 15. If you are levelling as well, our XP farm and bot lobby guide covers what still works for XP.
Event, promotion and store dog tags in Battlefield 6
The remaining dog tags do not come from gameplay feats. The list below is what the Battlefield Wiki’s dog tag page shows as of its last edit on March 25, 2026. It does not cover events, battle passes or bundles added after that date, so treat it as the types of source, not a complete list for the current season. The wiki lists these sources:
- Day 1 login gift: EA’s Inbox announcement of October 10, 2025 says the first time you reach the main menu, your Inbox holds the “Tankful” dog tag. Claim it from the message, then equip it on your Player Profile. The wiki spells it Tank-ful.
- Assignments: Bat Company came from a Battlefield 6 Open Beta week 2 assignment, and Highly Charged from a Red Bull assignment.
- Promotions and drops: Seeing Red (Red Bull promotion), Called Shotgun (launch Twitch Drops) and Bushido (Tokyo Game Show 2025).
- Battlefield 2042’s Road to Battlefield 6 pass: Blood in the Water at tier 49 and Blackout at tier 60 of the free pass.
- Portal: Reloading, for taking part in Battlefield Portal.
- Free store gifts: Finger Guns (Season 1 week 4) and Knife’s Edge (Season 1 week 16).
- Paid packs and bundles: dozens of store bundles include a dog tag, plus the Phantom Edition pack (Operative) and EA Play packs.
- Tournaments: five dog tags, such as Target Acquired and The Butcher, are described as earned for tournament play.
Two entries on the wiki’s list are not rewards at all. First To Fall is the default dog tag. Highly Trained is an AI-only dog tag that the wiki says cannot be equipped.
How to equip dog tags in Battlefield 6
- Open the Profile tab.
- Select Edit Playercard at the bottom left.
- Open the Dog Tag tab. It sits next to Background, Icon, Title, Badge and Sticker.
- Pick the dog tag you want.
These steps are from a Shacknews walkthrough by Sam Chandler, published October 10, 2025. According to the Battlefield Wiki, your player card shows your dog tag to your squad at the start of a match and on the end-of-round screen, and enemies see it on the killcam.
Enemy dog tags are a separate thing. The wiki says you collect an enemy’s dog tag by performing a Takedown on them.
Battlefield 6 campaign collectible trophies and achievements
The campaign dog tags also count toward five achievements and trophies, according to the wiki’s achievement list:
| Name | Requirement | Xbox / trophy |
|---|---|---|
| In Memoriam | Pick up a campaign collectible | 15G / Bronze |
| Dogs of War | Pick up 5 campaign collectibles | 15G / Bronze |
| Hounds of War | Pick up 10 campaign collectibles | 15G / Bronze |
| Wolves of War | Pick up 20 campaign collectibles | 30G / Silver |
| Pack Leader | Pick up all campaign collectibles | 45G / Silver |

So one full sweep of the 30 tags covers all five, plus the Winner Take All dog tag.
