The best-documented fast Forza Horizon 6 money, going by player reports, comes from racing on the highest AI difficulty you can still win, with assists off, in events that pay well per minute: the Colossus once you reach the final events, and Horizon Stunt Party events. Stack VIP’s double race credits and house perks on top, clear the weekly Festival Playlist and sell spare cars. Playground cut Auto Drive rewards in June 2026.
Playground Games does not publish a payout table for Forza Horizon 6, so this guide separates two kinds of information. Rules such as the VIP credit boost, the Auction House fee and the Auto Drive changes come from Forza Support. Per-race payouts come from players posting their results on the Steam forums, and we say so where we use them. Everything here is about Forza Horizon 6 in Japan; where something comes from Forza Horizon 5, we point it out.
Ways to make money fast in Forza Horizon 6, ranked by effort
No one has published a controlled credits-per-hour test that compares every method, so this is not a strict ranking. It orders the methods by how much they pay for the time they take, based on the sources in each section below.
| Method | What it pays | Where the number comes from |
|---|---|---|
| High-difficulty races (the Colossus) | Roughly 100,000–175,000 CR per run reported | Player reports, May–July 2026 |
| Horizon Stunt Party events | About 100,000 CR per event reported | Player reports, May 2026 |
| Festival Playlist challenges | 25,000 CR weekly challenge + 5,000 CR per daily challenge | Forza Wiki and in-game screen |
| Wheelspins and Super Wheelspins | Random: credits, cars or cosmetics | Red Bull, player reports |
| Auction House sales | Sale price minus about 15% | Forza Support |
| VIP Membership | 2x credits on race rewards | Forza Support |
Raise the difficulty to earn more credits per race
Every race pays a credit bonus that grows as you make the race harder: higher Drivatar (AI) difficulty and fewer driving assists. Red Bull’s Forza Horizon 6 money guide puts the ceiling at up to 125% more credits. It also makes the obvious but important point that longer races generally pay more than short sprints.
The catch is that you have to finish well. A last-place finish on Unbeatable pays less than a win a few steps lower. Red Bull suggests starting by turning off the racing line or turning on damage, then raising the AI one step at a time. The game prompts you to raise it when you keep winning by a wide margin.
For a sense of scale, the following comes from community testing, not from Playground. In a July 16, 2026 Steam thread, one player said Unbeatable AI with every assist off except ABS showed an 85% credit bonus. Another quoted a 70% bonus for their setup.
The Colossus: the best-known long race for credits
The Colossus is a very long motorway race around the map for S2-class cars. The Colossus was also in Forza Horizon 5, and Red Bull describes it as returning among Forza Horizon 6’s final campaign events; one player said it opened when they reached the Gold Wristband. Red Bull calls it the easiest of the final events and suggests a hypercar tuned to the top of S2.

The payouts below are single player reports from Steam threads, not official figures, and they vary with difficulty, assists and VIP:
- One lap: “over 100,000 credits and 28,000 XP” in just over six minutes (July 16, 2026). Three separate runs paid 345,000 CR and 75,000 XP in total.
- With VIP on Unbeatable: about 120,000 CR at a 70% difficulty bonus (July 16, 2026).
- Fifty laps: 175,000 CR and 48,000 XP. The player who drove it said that was the same as one lap (May 17, 2026).
The run time doesn’t agree across sources: Red Bull says 11 to 15 minutes, one player says just over six. One player report suggests rewards may not scale with extra laps: 175,000 CR for 50 laps, about what others report for a single run. That is a single report, so check your own payout on a short run before committing to a long lap count.
The Goliath, the other long final event, got mixed reports in July 2026. One player said it dropped to 150,000–180,000 CR after the Italian Passion car pack update. Another said their Goliath payouts had always been 260,000–280,000 CR, and that the Colossus pays more for the time spent. We could not find a Goliath change in the official release notes.
Horizon Stunt Party, Horizon Life and Horizon Jobs events
These three open-world activities matter because three houses boost exactly them (see the house table below). The payouts again come from players on Steam, not from Playground.
- Horizon Stunt Party: players in a May 27, 2026 thread called these the best money between races, at about 100,000 CR for roughly five minutes. One said running the Chaos or Wreckage party twice made over 200,000 CR in under ten minutes, with a Forza Edition car and skill-chain perks.
- Horizon Jobs: opinions split. One player found food delivery paid decently; another said “Not the food delivery”. A third said five hours of jobs pays more than five hours on a 50-lap Colossus.
- Horizon Life: Time Attack and Drag Meet targets. We found no player payout figure for these.
Festival Playlist credits you should collect every week
The Festival Playlist is the rotating list of challenges that opens once you have the Yellow Wristband. Each season lasts one week and resets at 14:30 UTC on Thursdays. According to the Forza Wiki’s Festival Playlist page, finishing the four-chapter weekly challenge pays 25,000 CR. Each of the seven daily challenges pays 5,000 CR.

By our arithmetic that is 60,000 CR a week from challenges alone (25,000 + 7 × 5,000). That is small next to one Colossus run, but the season point rewards also include cars, Wheelspins and Super Wheelspins. What’s live changes every Thursday; our Series 5 Autumn Festival Playlist guide covers the current season.
Wheelspins, Super Wheelspins and Car Mastery
A Wheelspin is the slot-machine prize you get on every driver level. A Super Wheelspin pays three prizes at once. Prizes are credits, cars, clothing or horns. Red Bull says cash prizes can reach six or seven figures, but players are blunter: most spins land on small amounts. One player in the May 27, 2026 thread said 95% of their spins paid 5,000 CR, and a June 17, 2026 thread called 5,000 CR the lowest cash prize.

Two tips from the June 17 community thread:
- Duplicate cars are money. When a spin gives a car you already own, you can keep it, cash it in for half its Autoshow price, or gift it.
- Buying cheap cosmetics can clean up your spins. Clothing and horns you own no longer appear on the reels, so more spins land on credits or cars. Players disagreed on how much this helps.
Skill points and Car Mastery for more Super Wheelspins
Skill points come from drifting, jumps and off-road driving, and you spend them in each car’s Car Mastery tree. Red Bull points out that some trees contain several Super Wheelspins or a direct cash perk, and that unspent skill points remain available after you sell a car, so you can spend them on another car’s Mastery tree. Players pair this with a car that reaches a high skill multiplier and chain skills on long, winding roads.

We have not found a reliable list of which Forza Horizon 6 cars have the best Super Wheelspin trees, so we don’t name one. Check the tree before you commit points: every perk shows its cost and reward. Our Super Wheelspins guide covers the Spinball Wizard perk and the cars players use for it.
Which Forza Horizon 6 houses boost your credits
You can own up to eight houses, and most give a permanent perk. Prices and perks below are from the Forza Wiki’s Player House page. Forza Support separately confirms that the Tokyo House can be bought with credits and is free for VIP members.
| House | Price | Money-related perk |
|---|---|---|
| Tokyo House | 3,000,000 CR (free with VIP) | One free Wheelspin every day you log in |
| Minka House | 450,000 CR | +10% credits from Horizon Stunt Party events |
| Hakusan Mountain Lodge | 635,000 CR | +10% credits from Horizon Life events |
| Fuji Unkai House | 830,000 CR | +10% credits from Horizon Jobs |
| Soko 78 | 980,000 CR | Autoshow cars 5% cheaper |
| Vision House | 1,500,000 CR | +10% skill score for LINK skills |
| Yashiki House (The Estate) | 10,000 CR | Build on the plot; income from other players’ visits and downloads |

Minka House is the easiest perk to earn back if Stunt Party events are your main income. At the roughly 100,000 CR per event players report, +10% is about 10,000 CR, so, if the full reported payout is eligible for the bonus, it pays for itself in about 45 events (our arithmetic). Red Bull’s guide also mentions a house that doubles skill points. That perk is not on the wiki’s house list, so we left it out of the table.
Selling cars on the Forza Horizon 6 Auction House
The Auction House is the only place to turn a car you don’t need into a price you set. Duplicate Wheelspin cars can also be cashed in at half Autoshow price. The rules that matter for money come from the Forza Support Auction House FAQ:
- There is a fee of about 15% per listing. It rises with price and with other players’ paints or tunes on the car. A car that sells for 1,000,000 CR pays you roughly 850,000 CR.
- Barn Finds, loyalty reward cars and Treasure Cars cannot be sold.
- There is a limit on transactions in a 24-hour period. A “Bid Failed” message usually means you have hit it.
- Legendary painters and tuners get higher listing ranges.
- Claim every finished auction from the Auction House menu, or the credits won’t land in your profile.
The July 13, 2026 release notes also fixed a bug that wrongly applied the credit cap to non-Autoshow cars. Flipping (buying low and relisting) is possible, but one player who tried it called it “annoying and time consuming”. With a 15% cut on every sale, you need a big price gap to profit.
Is Forza Horizon 6 VIP worth it for credits?
For credit farming, VIP is a large, stackable multiplier. The Forza Support VIP FAQ lists a 2x credit boost to race rewards and one Super Wheelspin every week, sent to your Message Center. It also gives you the Tokyo City House free. The doubled figure is already shown in the results screen, so you won’t see a separate VIP line.
The 2x race-credit benefit is not new to Forza Horizon 6. VIP in Forza Horizon 5 and Forza Horizon 4 also listed 2x Credit race rewards, so VIP advice carried over from those games still applies on this point.
Why Auto Drive credit farming was nerfed and can be rolled back
Many early “AFK money glitch” videos relied on Auto Drive, the feature that lets ANNA drive for you. On June 18, 2026, Playground’s Series 2 Hotfix 1 notes said it had rebalanced rewards in some modes to stop Auto Drive being used this way. Auto Drive is meant for accessibility, “not intended to be used as a way to earn credits without actively playing the game.”
The same hotfix fixed a credits exploit in The Eliminator. Per the Eliminator and Auto Drive FAQ, players who used that exploit had their accounts restored to a maximum of 10 million credits. Players who used Auto Drive got a credit rollback. Playground said no further enforcement action was taken. The practical takeaway: an AFK method that pays well now can be rolled back later, so the methods above are the ones worth your time.
Forza Horizon 6 credits service
If you’d rather skip the grind, PandaPlay delivers Forza Horizon 6 credits on Xbox, Steam and Windows by either delivery method described above, or plays through the wristbands for you.
You can compare both delivery methods on the Forza Horizon 6 credits page. Wristband and expansion completion are on the Forza Horizon 6 boosting page. For how the seven wristbands work, see our Gold Wristband guide.
Frequently asked questions
What is the fastest way to make money in Forza Horizon 6?
There is no official payout table. Player reports point to single runs of the Colossus on the highest difficulty you can win, plus Horizon Stunt Party events. VIP doubles race credits on top.
Does doing more laps of the Colossus pay more?
Not confirmed. One player reported 175,000 CR for 50 laps, about the same as a single run, which suggests extra laps may not scale. It is a single report, so test a short run first.
Is there still an AFK money glitch in Forza Horizon 6?
Playground reduced rewards for Auto Drive in June 2026 and rolled back credits from the Eliminator exploit. New AFK methods may appear, but they can be patched and rolled back the same way.
How much does the Auction House take?
Forza Support says about 15% per listing. The fee rises with price and with other players’ paints or tunes on the car.
Does VIP double credits in Forza Horizon 6?
Yes, for race rewards. Forza Support lists a 2x credit boost to race rewards, and the doubled amount is already shown on screen.
Can I buy Forza Horizon 6 credits on PS5?
Not yet from us. The PS5 version was announced for later in 2026 without a firm date on the Forza Wiki, and our credits service currently covers Xbox, Steam and Windows.
