A Monopoly GO Sticker Boom is a surprise flash event that adds 50% more stickers to every standard pack you open while its timer runs. Wild Stickers are not boosted. The timer starts when you log in and close the pop-ups, and in the last album it ran for 10 to 20 minutes. Scopely publishes no schedule; none was listed as of September 29, 2026.
Sticker Boom sits alongside the other boost windows on our today’s Monopoly GO events page. This guide covers how the boost works, how to tell one is coming, what to line up before you log in, and how it differs from Golden Blitz. The rules come from Scopely’s own help centre; the dates and timer lengths come from community tracking, and each section says which is which.
What a Monopoly GO Sticker Boom does
Scopely’s Sticker Boom help article gives the rule in one line: during the event you get a 50% extra sticker bonus in every pack awarded to you. It applies to all standard sticker packs and does not increase the number of Wild Stickers. Only packs opened while the Sticker Boom timer is still running get the bonus; a pack opened a minute after it ends gives the normal count.
The base pack sizes are also official. Scopely’s Stickers, Albums and Prestige article lists how many stickers each pack holds, and the boosted column below is that number plus half.
| Pack | Guaranteed sticker | Normal stickers (Scopely) | During a Sticker Boom (+50%) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Green | 1-star | 1 | 2 (1.5, rounded up; see below) |
| Yellow | 2-star | 2 | 3 |
| Pink | 3-star | 2 | 3 |
| Blue | 4-star | 4 | 6 |
| Purple | 5-star | 6 | 9 |
| Red | 6-star | 6 | 9 |
| Wild Sticker | Your choice | 1 | 1 (not boosted) |
| Swap Pack | At least 3-star | 4 | Not confirmed |
The boosted column is our arithmetic on Scopely’s numbers, not a table Scopely publishes. The green pack is the one case where 50% does not give a whole number. SuperCheats’ Sticker Boom guide, a community source, says the count is rounded up, so a green pack gives two stickers instead of one; the community-run MOGO Wiki describes the bonus as “up to 50%”. Scopely’s article does not mention rounding, so treat the green-pack figure as community-reported. Scopely’s article does not say whether Swap Packs are boosted either.

When the Sticker Boom timer starts and how long it lasts
A Sticker Boom has two clocks. The first is the window in which the event is available. The second is your personal timer, and Scopely says it starts after you close all the pop-ups when you log in, with a countdown on the right side of the main screen.
The window and timer lengths below are community-tracked from MOGO Wiki’s daily event posts, which read the game’s own event data; Scopely does not publish them. Every Sticker Boom in the Happy Harvest album (July 29 to September 23, 2026) opened at 17:00 UTC and closed at 16:59 UTC the next day, so the window is about 24 hours. We converted that to 1:00 PM Eastern while US daylight saving time runs. The personal timer was 10 minutes seven times, 15 minutes once and 20 minutes three times. SuperCheats also describes a window of about 24 hours to log in.
The practical point: whatever you have lined up has to happen inside those 10 to 20 minutes, and the countdown starts the moment you are on the board. Logging in “just to check” during a Boom window starts your timer.
Scopely lists Quick Wins, milestones, tournaments, the current event, the Color Set Wheel and Daily Treats among the places sticker packs come from. Milestones, tournaments and the Color Set Wheel all run on rolls, so the packs you can earn inside a Boom timer depend on having rolls to spend.

Scopely calls Sticker Booms “surprise” flash drops that can happen at any time, and it has no public calendar for them. The dates below are community-tracked from MOGO Wiki’s daily event posts. MOGO Wiki has no daily post for August 21, 2026, so a Boom on that day would be missing from this list.
| Sticker Boom window opened (17:00 UTC) | Timer | Days since previous |
|---|---|---|
| August 10, 2026 | 10 min | — (12 days after the album opened) |
| August 17, 2026 | 10 min | 7 |
| August 22, 2026 | 10 min | 5 |
| August 24, 2026 | 10 min | 2 |
| August 28, 2026 | 10 min | 4 |
| September 3, 2026 | 10 min | 6 |
| September 6, 2026 | 10 min | 3 |
| September 12, 2026 | 15 min | 6 |
| September 16, 2026 | 20 min | 4 |
| September 19, 2026 | 20 min | 3 |
| September 22, 2026 | 20 min | 3 |
That is 11 Sticker Booms in the 56-day Happy Harvest album, with gaps of two to seven days. There was no fixed weekday and no regular interval, so we would not predict a date from this list. The one pattern that held is the start hour: every window opened at 17:00 UTC. The last one opened on September 22 and closed on September 23, the day the album ended.
Next Sticker Boom: none announced as of September 29, 2026
Monster Mash, which Scopely’s press release says runs from September 23 through November 25, 2026, had no Sticker Boom in MOGO Wiki’s daily posts for September 23 to 29. MOGO Wiki’s live event schedule, checked on September 29, lists no Sticker Boom through October 4 either, and SuperCheats’ page, last updated September 23, also shows none scheduled. In the previous album the first Boom came 12 days after the album opened. That is one data point, not a rule.
How to know a Sticker Boom is coming
- Official channels. Scopely’s help article tells players to follow the official Monopoly GO social accounts to avoid missing one. It gives no lead time.
- In the game. Once you log in during a Boom window and close the pop-ups, the timer appears on the right side of the main screen.
- Community trackers. MOGO Wiki’s daily “Today’s Events” post lists each Sticker Boom window. Across the 11 Happy Harvest Booms, the post went up between about 10 and 20 hours before the window opened, which is our count from the posts’ publish times.
Because the personal timer only starts when you log in, the useful warning is the one that reaches you before you open the app. After that, the clock is already running.
How to use a Sticker Boom: packs, vaults and trades
The Boom itself is simple. The planning is about what you can make happen inside a 10 to 20 minute timer.
Pair it with a Wheel Boost
This is Scopely’s own tip. A Wheel Boost doubles your Color Set Wheel spins, and every pack you win from the wheel during a Sticker Boom gets the 50% bonus. SuperCheats makes the same point and adds High Roller as a way to get through milestones quickly. Boost windows are listed on our events schedule page, so you can see whether one overlaps the Boom window before you log in.

Time your Stickers for Rewards vault
Duplicate stickers turn into stars, and stars open the Stickers for Rewards vaults. Scopely’s duplicate stickers and stars article says you can only open a vault once every 24 hours. So a Boom can cover one vault opening at most, and saving that day’s vault for the Boom window is the lever you control. SuperCheats and Game Rant both recommend it; Game Rant also suggests waiting for a Boom before opening your Community Chest. That is guide-site advice, not a Scopely rule.
Trading and duplicates during a Sticker Boom
Nothing in Scopely’s Sticker Boom article touches trading. You keep the regular five sticker trades a day that Scopely describes in its Golden Blitz article. The extra stickers a Boom gives are mostly duplicates later in an album, and Scopely notes that duplicates show up more often the closer you are to finishing. Those duplicates are either trade material or stars: a duplicate is worth its star rating, and a gold duplicate is worth double.
Do not hold packs past the album end
Scopely’s album rollover article says sticker packs are tied to the season they were earned in and do not carry over. The same goes for Wild Stickers and Swap Packs. Unopened vaults convert to rolls at rollover, capped at 700 stars for 750 rolls. For Monster Mash that deadline is November 25, 2026, and there is no guarantee a Boom falls in the final days, even though one did in the last album.
Sticker Boom vs Golden Blitz
The two are often mentioned together because both are about finishing an album, but they change different things. The Golden Blitz rules below are from Scopely’s Golden Blitz help article; for recent dates and featured stickers, see our next Golden Blitz tracker.
| Sticker Boom | Golden Blitz | |
|---|---|---|
| What changes | Standard packs give 50% more stickers | Two featured gold stickers become tradable |
| What it does not change | Wild Stickers; trading | Pack contents; every other gold sticker stays locked |
| How long | Personal timer; 10 to 20 minutes in the last album (community-tracked) | Typically 24 hours (Scopely) |
| Who decides | Scopely, as a surprise flash drop | Players vote on the official Discord |
| Extra limits | Only packs opened while the timer runs | 5 gold trades for the whole event, separate from the 5 daily regular trades |
They also work together. Gold stickers come from packs, and you can only send a featured gold sticker if you have a duplicate of it, so more stickers from a Boom means more chances at the spare copy a Blitz trade needs. In the Happy Harvest album the two ran on the same day twice, on September 3 and September 22.

Monopoly GO rolls and sticker stars at PandaPlay
If a short Sticker Boom timer is the problem, the packs it boosts come from rolls (our free dice guide lists every way to earn them), and the vault it pairs with runs on stars. Our Monopoly GO sticker service covers single stickers, and the Monopoly GO dice page has rolls.

Does Sticker Boom double your stickers in Monopoly GO?
No. Scopely describes it as a 50% extra sticker bonus. The only pack that ends up doubled is the green pack, which goes from one sticker to two because, according to community guides, the half sticker is rounded up.
Does Sticker Boom affect Wild Stickers?
No. Scopely says the boost applies to standard sticker packs and does not increase the number of Wild Stickers.
How long does a Sticker Boom last?
The window was about 24 hours in the last album, but your personal timer is short: 10, 15 or 20 minutes in the Happy Harvest album, according to MOGO Wiki’s event data. It starts when you log in and close the pop-ups.
When is the next Sticker Boom?
Not announced. As of September 29, 2026, no Sticker Boom was listed for the Monster Mash album through October 4. Scopely calls them surprise flash drops and publishes no schedule.
Are Swap Packs boosted by Sticker Boom?
Not confirmed. Scopely’s article says the boost applies to all standard sticker packs but does not mention Swap Packs by name.
Can I save sticker packs for a Sticker Boom in the next album?
No. Scopely says packs, Wild Stickers and Swap Packs are tied to the season they were earned in and do not carry over when the album rolls over.
