Bulkhead’s Season 1 table puts Wardogs class level 50 at 1,000,000 XP, and there are six classes, so all six is 6,000,000 XP. XP comes from the gear you use: 750 per Pilot pallet drop, 150 when a target you spotted dies, 80 per teammate bandage (community figures). Bulkhead says median players reach level 20 in 20 to 25 hours; a community model puts one class at about 90 hours.

That is the short version of a long grind. Below is where each class’s XP comes from, how much each level band costs, what the hour estimates are actually built on, and why the October 15 start of Season 2 matters before you commit to six maxed tracks.

The six Wardogs classes and how class XP works

Bulkhead’s February 18, 2026 Top Questions post says roles are “totally player-defined”: you buy specialist items and earn XP “across 6 progression tracks”. There is no class you pick before a match. Community guides name the six tracks the same way: Assault, Medic, Support, Recon, Driver and Pilot.

The rule the community guides agree on is simple: the item in your hands decides which track gets the XP. An assault rifle kill feeds Assault, a bandage feeds Medic, flying feeds Pilot. Kills made from a vehicle go to that vehicle’s track, so tank kills feed Driver rather than Assault.

XP per action for each class

The values below come from community testing published by AllThingsHow, not from an official Bulkhead table. Bulkhead itself has only published two XP values, both in the Season 1 changelog: a kill from an air vehicle pays 250 XP, and selling a supply-crate item worth under $75 pays 1 XP.

ClassActionXP
PilotSupply pallet dropped in the zone750
PilotSmall supply crate dropped250
Pilot (official)Player kill from an air vehicle250

Two habits from community guides matter for a six-class goal, because they feed two tracks at once. WARDOGS Build recommends carrying binoculars in every infantry loadout, so Recon levels in the background while you play Assault, Medic or Support. It also points out that one supply truck run pays Driver XP for unloading and Support XP when the supplies go into a FOB. Our Wardogs FOB guide covers the build side of that loop.

How much XP Wardogs class level 50 costs

Bulkhead published the XP figures in its Pre-Load Live and Season 1 Changelog on September 9, 2026, under the line “Rebalanced the role track XP curve from level 6 upward”. The figure attached to level 50 is 1,000,000 XP.

Bulkhead does not say whether each figure is a running total or the cost of that one level. The community site WARDOGS Hub reads the column as cumulative: level 50 is a million XP from the start of the track. The arithmetic between rows below follows that reading and is ours, not Bulkhead’s.

LevelSeason 1 XP (official)XP in the band before it (cumulative reading)
1035,000From level 6 (9,250): 25,750
15110,00075,000
20250,000140,000
25325,00075,000
30400,00075,000
35500,000100,000
40650,000150,000
45800,000150,000
501,000,000200,000

Read that way, three quarters of the XP for level 50 sits after level 20, and levels 15 to 20 cost more per level than levels 20 to 30. Six classes at 1,000,000 each is 6,000,000 XP in total. Our Season 1 leveling guide has the full before-and-after table against the beta curve.

One media guide still prints the old numbers. AllThingsHow’s “grind every class” article lists 838,000 XP at level 50, which is the beta figure Bulkhead replaced on September 9. Use the changelog figure.

How long it takes to level every Wardogs class to 50

Bulkhead has given exactly one time figure. The Season 1 changelog says its “median players, at 20 to 25 hours, will be around level 20”. It does not say whether that means one class track or the overall Wardog level.

The hour estimates below come from community arithmetic, not from measured playtime. WARDOGS Hub, a single community source for this model, takes Bulkhead’s sentence at face value: 250,000 XP in about 22.5 hours is roughly 11,000 XP an hour on one track. At that flat rate:

One class to levelHours at ~11,000 XP/hour (WARDOGS Hub model)
20About 22
35About 45
50About 90

Stretched across Bulkhead’s full 20-to-25-hour range instead of its midpoint, the same model gives 80 to 100 hours for one class and 480 to 600 hours for all six. That is a straight-line extrapolation of a community model, not a measured time and not an upper limit. Two things could move it either way: Bulkhead did not say whether its 20-to-25-hour sentence means one class or overall level, and the binocular and supply-run habits above earn XP on two tracks in the same life. We found no Reddit post, wiki page or video that has measured the real time to take all six classes to 50.

The rate also varies by class. The community figures above pay 750 XP for one Pilot pallet drop against 80 for a Medic bandage, and Assault has no side farm at all, so its speed depends on how much you fight. No source we found has measured hourly XP for each class with a stated method.

Do you need every Wardogs class at level 50?

Not for most unlocks. Community data from WARDOGS Hub, which it labels as reported rather than confirmed, puts the last unlock on each track at:

  • Assault, Medic, Recon: level 50
  • Support: level 45
  • Driver and Pilot: level 35 (the L2A6 and the Havoc)

AllThingsHow disagrees on Driver, putting its final unlock at level 40. Bulkhead’s own changelog does confirm the Heavy Tank at Driver level 35.

The overall Wardog level is a separate question. The WARDOGS Handbook and AllThingsHow both say it is the six class levels added together, so six classes at 50 is Wardog level 300. Bulkhead has not stated that rule. WARDOGS Hub’s data puts the last Wardog-level unlock, the Arsenal Backpack with two slings, at level 150. On the sum rule, six classes at 25 already reach it.

Reaching a level only opens the item. Most unlocks also carry a one-time cash cost, so a maxed account still needs money; our Wardogs money guide covers how cash is earned in Season 1.

Class level caps are not confirmed. Bulkhead’s table stops at 50. AllThingsHow says each class goes to 100, while WARDOGS Hub says Bulkhead has not published a cap.

What the Season 2 wipe does to Wardogs class levels

Bulkhead’s Season 02 Teaser of September 22, 2026 gives the date: October 15, 2026. No start time was given.

The reset rule is quoted by WARDOGS Hub from the in-game Gold Exchange panel: at the end of a major update cycle, “your level progression and cash will be reset”. So class levels earned in Season 1 do not carry into Season 2. WARDOGS Hub also says the exact day of the reset has not been announced; Bulkhead has promised to announce it ahead of time.

The Season 1 changelog adds that “Each season we will have a different XP curve with different item orders.” The Season 2 curve has not been published, so the 1,000,000 XP figure for level 50 is a Season 1 number only. WARDOGS Hub also reports that CEO Joe Brammer said in a September 29 video on X that Season 2 will be short like Season 1, and that seasons get longer from Season 3. Our Season 2 wipe guide covers what you keep, including Gold Bars.

One more reset is not seasonal. Bulkhead’s Update 0.1.2 notes of September 30, 2026 say players caught abusing cash and XP exploits have had “their cash and progression reset” and now risk permanent bans without warning. The same update added a Low-Level server option to the Deploy screen.
