How to Get the Emperor Gateway Conduit in ARC Raiders

Most current guides say the three couplers come from Redirection payloads, and the Fallen Emperor's door takes the key they build.

To get the Emperor Gateway Conduit in ARC Raiders, play Pendola Pass during the Redirection map condition and grab Emperor Beacons from Damaged Emperor Relays. Most current guides point to the Harvester Payloads those beacons call down as the source of the Conduit blueprint and the three couplers it needs. Craft it at Workbench I, or take the finished key reportedly offered at Frozen Trail Reward Pass level 60.

The Conduit is the legendary key that opens the Fallen Emperor, the downed walker on the new Pendola Pass map added in the Frozen Trail update on October 8, 2026. Embark has not published a guide to it, so the steps below come from the community-run ARC Raiders Wiki and from media guides written in the first days after launch. Where those sources disagree, both versions are listed.

Emperor Gateway Conduit recipe and crafting station

The community wiki’s item page lists the Conduit as a legendary key that opens the Emperor on Pendola Pass. The blueprint’s in-game description says it combines three distinct couplers. Beebom, KeenGamer and Insider Gaming all give the same recipe:

  • 1 ARC Insulated Coupler
  • 1 ARC Conductive Coupler
  • 1 ARC Plated Coupler

Beebom and KeenGamer both say Workbench I is enough, so you do not need to upgrade the bench first. Insider Gaming only says you craft it back in Speranza. You must find and learn the Emperor Gateway Conduit Blueprint before the recipe appears.

Where to farm the Conduit blueprint and couplers

The wiki and two of the three media guides point to one source for both the blueprint and the couplers: Harvester Payloads during Redirection. Redirection is a map condition that only runs on Pendola Pass. Its in-game description says Emperor Beacons are activating around the map and can be used to redirect payloads to your position.

  1. Queue into Pendola Pass while Redirection is the active condition.
  2. Find a Damaged Emperor Relay marked on your map and interact with it to take an Emperor Beacon. Insider Gaming says a relay is ready when it sends a red beam into the sky.
  3. Place the beacon on open ground with nothing overhead.
  4. Step well back. Debris falls first and can deal heavy damage.
  5. Breach and search the Harvester Payload once the debris stops.

According to the wiki’s Emperor Beacon page, each drop contains a single Harvester Payload. Among the containers that fall with the beacon, only that main payload can hold the couplers or the Conduit blueprint; the smaller ones carry standard ARC loot. KeenGamer adds that the blueprint is not guaranteed, and that you can bank couplers in your stash across several raids instead of finding all three at once.

One guide disagrees. Beebom says the couplers come from ARC probes that fall during Redirection, and suggests searching for the blueprint during Night Raid as well. The wiki’s item metadata also tags ARC as a source for the Conductive Coupler, although the same page’s prose identifies Harvester Payloads. If payloads are not dropping what you need, these are the alternatives players report, but the payload route is the one most sources agree on.

Can you get the Conduit from the Reward Pass?

Beebom and KeenGamer both report that level 60 of the Frozen Trail Reward Pass gives a finished Emperor Gateway Conduit. Embark’s 2.0 update notes confirm the pass has 60 levels across a free and a premium track, but do not list the reward at each level. Treat the level 60 key as provisional until you see it in your own pass. Our Reward Pass guide explains how Reward Points are earned.

If those reports are accurate, level 60 gives a finished key rather than the blueprint. None of the checked sources says whether the key is consumed, so it is not yet clear whether repeat runs require additional Conduits.

How to use the Conduit to enter the Fallen Emperor

Bring the Conduit into a Pendola Pass raid and travel to the Fallen Emperor. KeenGamer describes a locked gateway at the base of its body that shows a Conduit prompt when you approach. Embark’s Frozen Trail first look calls the fallen walker the reason Raiders go to Pendola Pass and says rare technology lies inside.

The wiki lists a Shani quest, Belly Of The Beast, whose objective is to enter the Emperor, with acquiring a Conduit as an optional step. Its listed rewards include a Snap Hook and a Pendola Pass Observatory Key. The earlier Celeste quest, Sizing Things Up, has you search a buried Harvester Payload at the base of the Emperor and hand in an ARC Conductive Coupler.

What is inside the Fallen Emperor

Very little is documented yet. Insider Gaming describes several rooms you must navigate and solve, and recommends a Grappling Hook or Snap Hook because some rooms have big drops and walls you cannot climb. Early players call it hard and aimed at endgame loadouts. Room layouts, enemy types and a full loot table are not confirmed.

The loot that is documented ties into weapon upgrades. The wiki lists the Fallen Emperor as the source of the Emperor Modulator, a legendary material used to upgrade the Gunsmith. Insider Gaming and KeenGamer also report Amplification Modules inside. See our weapon amplification guide for what those modules do.

Frequently asked questions

What does the Emperor Gateway Conduit open?

It opens the locked entrance to the Fallen Emperor on Pendola Pass. The community wiki lists no other use.

Which couplers do you need for the Conduit?

One each of the ARC Insulated, ARC Conductive and ARC Plated Coupler. Media guides agree on this recipe; check the in-game recipe if it changes in a patch.

Does the Conduit come from ARC probes or Harvester Payloads?

The wiki, Insider Gaming and KeenGamer say Harvester Payloads called in with Emperor Beacons during Redirection. Beebom says ARC probes. Embark has not said which is correct.

Is the Conduit a Reward Pass reward?

Two media guides report a finished Conduit at level 60 of the Frozen Trail Reward Pass. Embark’s notes do not list per-level rewards, so this is not confirmed officially.

Is the Conduit used up when you enter?

Not confirmed. None of the sources we checked say whether the key is consumed on use.
