Epic’s weekly shop trailer lists the Fortnite Sugar skin as a bundle for October 20, 2026. VICE reports it will drop at 5 PM PT (8 PM ET), the 00:00 UTC shop reset on October 21. Epic has not shown a price. VICE estimates 800 V-Bucks for the outfit, the same as last year’s Spice, but that is unconfirmed until the shop goes live.
Below are the times by region, what Sugar comes with, the expected price and which V-Bucks pack covers it. We will update the price once the skin is in the shop. The next Fortnitemares collab expected in the shop is covered in our Slender Man skin guide.
Fortnite Sugar skin release date and time
Epic’s weekly shop trailer on X, posted on October 14, shows a card reading “Sugar, Bundle, Oct 20” at 0:17. It gives a date but no hour. VICE reported on October 18 that it lands at 5 PM PT, after the daily shop reset at 00:00 UTC.
That reading fits the same trailer. Its Yeat card says “Oct 15”, and the Yeat set actually appeared at 00:00 UTC on October 16, which was the evening of October 15 in the US. So Epic’s dates are US dates, and in most of the world Sugar arrives on October 21.

What comes with the Sugar skin
The item details below come from Fortnite-API, a community-run service that reads Fortnite’s game files. They were added in the October 15 update and have not appeared in the shop yet.
- Sugar, Epic outfit: “She’s no scaredy cat.”
- Two outfit styles: Sugar and Black Tie Sugar.
- Two head styles: Pumpkin and Candy.
- Sugar’s Steppers, Uncommon kicks.
- Sugar Bomb, Rare wrap.
Dataminers told VICE that the Sugar bundle also includes a back bling and a pickaxe. Those items are not in the Fortnite-API listing yet, so their names are not confirmed. Whether the kicks and wrap are sold in the bundle or separately is also not confirmed.
How much is the Sugar skin in V-Bucks?
Not confirmed. VICE estimates, based on the 2025 Spice set:

The comparison holds up for the outfit. The community shop tracker Fortnite.GG lists Spice at 800 V-Bucks. Spice first went on sale on October 30, 2025, and was last seen on February 16, 2026.

Epic sells four standard V-Bucks packs: 800, 2,400, 4,500 and 12,500, per its V-Bucks pricing notice.
- Outfit only, if sold separately at VICE’s 800 estimate: the 800 pack covers it exactly.
- Outfit, back bling and pickaxe: if all three are sold separately at VICE’s estimated prices, that adds up to 1,600, which the 2,400 pack covers. This is a sum of estimates, not a bundle price; Epic lists Sugar as a bundle, and the bundle price is not known yet.
