Black Ops 7 Season 6 Weapons: How to Unlock All Four

Black Ops 7 Season 6 adds four weapons, and none of them costs money. The VMP SMG is the Battle Pass Page 3 completion reward and the TR51 Para the Page 6 reward, both free track. The Roc 20mm ends the DOOM Event Pass free track, and the Arcblade comes from the Camo Costume Party event (Call of Duty blog, September 8, 2026).

Black Ops 7 Season 6 weapons and how to unlock them

Season 06 goes live Thursday, September 17, 2026 at 9AM PT. Two weapons arrive through the Battle Pass, two through The Haunting’s events. For start times, maps, modes and everything else in the season, see our Black Ops 7 Season 6 overview.

How to unlock the VMP SMG in Season 6

The VMP returns from Black Ops 4 as a full-auto SMG with 35 weapon levels, a 40-round base magazine and four mags. Activision says only the MPC-25 rivals it for reload speed and aim-down-sight speed, which is what makes that deep magazine matter: it is built for flanking and breaching rather than range.

Unlocking it costs nothing. Complete Battle Pass Page 3 and the gun is yours; the Battle Pass itself is 1,100 COD Points (2,400 for the Bundle with 20 Tokens), but the two base weapons sit on the free track. The premium track adds a VMP Blueprint at Page 15 HVT.

Its Prestige attachment is the MFS Tactical Command Grip (Rear Grip), which improves mobility, recoil control, recoil stabilization and tac stance spread — an upgrade with no listed downside. Prestige camos: Magma (Prestige 1), Refract (Prestige 2) and Hotrod (Prestige Max). The VMP takes the full attachment spread, Optic through Fire Mods.

How to unlock the TR51 Para assault rifle in Season 6

The TR51 Para is the deepest grind of the four at 41 weapon levels. It is a semi-auto assault rifle with a 25-round magazine, three mags, very high damage, high bullet velocity and minimal recoil, unlocked as the Page 6 completion reward on the free Battle Pass track, with a Blueprint version at Page 12 HVT.

The Prestige attachment is the 18.5″ MFS Fallen Angel Barrel, a slow-firing full-auto conversion that trades some controllability for stopping power and, per Activision, “massively improves bullet velocity”. Until then, the blog points at Underbarrel Launchers and FMJ Ammo. Prestige camos: Rawhide, Cherished and Jungle Party.

How to unlock the Roc 20mm in Season 6

The Roc 20mm is the final reward on the DOOM Event Pass free track. You reach its milestones with XP across all modes, so no purchase is required. Both reward tracks are listed in our Season 6 events guide.

When you can start is still the open question. The announcement tags the Roc 20mm (Launch), but the DOOM Event Pass, its only published unlock route, is tagged (In-Season) (Call of Duty blog, September 8, 2026). The launch-day patch notes come down on the in-season side: they list the Roc 20mm as “Unlockable via DOOM Event Pass” and tag that pass (In-Season), with no Launch tag on the weapon (Call of Duty Warzone Season 06 patch notes, September 16, 2026). No event start date is published, so check the in-game event page.

It is a semi-auto 20mm cannon: five rounds per magazine, two mags, huge damage per shot over long range, low RPM, heavy recoil, poor handling and iron sights only. It takes three attachment types — Magazine, Rear Grip and Stock — and the last two are what fix the handling as you level it to 30. The Prestige attachment, the MFS Warhead Autoloader magazine, converts it to full auto with explosive rounds, improving handling at the cost of accuracy. Prestige camos: Bespatter, Composite and the animated Spooled, which the official camo card lists at weapon Level 250.

How to unlock the Arcblade melee weapon in Season 6

The Arcblade is the one weapon listed as in-season rather than day one. It is the headline reward of the Camo Costume Party event, unlocked by completing Weapon Class Camo Challenges. The announcement says those challenges span Multiplayer, Zombies, Endgame and Warzone and urges players to cover all four; whether each mode is strictly required is not listed yet. The event’s nine camos are in our events guide.

It is a bladed tonfa with a heavy attack that spins the blade around between strikes, 30 weapon levels, high damage and fast attack speed at moderate range. It has no attachments at all — Blueprints are the only customization — so levelling it only feeds Mastery Badges and its Prestige camos: Polygon, Leadlight and Very Berry.

Season 6 Weekly Challenge attachments

Three new attachments do not come from weapon levels at all. They are Weekly Challenge rewards, and a week’s reward unlocks once you complete any six challenges across Endgame, Multiplayer, Zombies and Warzone — the six are pooled, so one mode can cover them.

• VS Rebound Havoc Repeater (VS Recon sniper rifle, Fire Mods, at launch): a fast-firing semi-auto conversion whose rounds ricochet off surfaces multiple times. More ammo capacity and better handling, less base damage and range.
• Dravec 45 Aftermath Vertical Magazine (Dravec 45 SMG, Magazine, in-season): better ballistics, handling and mobility, worse ammo capacity and recoil control.
• Sokol 545 Warpath Blitz Kit (Sokol 545 LMG, Fire Mods, in-season): fire rate ramps up over sustained fire, at the cost of firepower and accuracy, with better handling and mobility.

What moves to the Armory after Season 05

Before Season 06 starts, check your remaining Season 05 Weekly Challenges. Any Attachments, Weapons or Scorestreaks you do not unlock through Season 05’s Weekly Challenges move into the Armory during Season 06, where you unlock them through Armory Challenges instead (Call of Duty blog, September 8, 2026). Nothing is lost, but the route changes: Armory Challenges are their own grind, separate from the weekly six-challenge loop above, so anything you finish before September 17 is one less item on that list.

Frequently asked questions

Do I have to buy the Battle Pass to get the VMP and TR51 Para?

No. The VMP is the Page 3 completion reward and the TR51 Para is the Page 6 completion reward, both on the free track. Buying the Battle Pass (1,100 COD Points) adds Blueprint versions at Pages 15 and 12, not the weapons themselves.

How do you unlock the Roc 20mm in Black Ops 7 Season 6?

Earn XP through the DOOM Event Pass until you reach the last reward on its free track. The premium track is optional and holds the Doom Slayer Operator and the DOOM-themed Blueprints instead.

Can I unlock the Roc 20mm on September 17?

Not confirmed. The announcement labels the Roc 20mm (Launch) but the DOOM Event Pass that awards it (In-Season). What happens to attachments I did not unlock in Season 5?

Attachments, Weapons and Scorestreaks missed through Season 05 Weekly Challenges move to the Armory in Season 06 and are unlocked there through Armory Challenges.

Are the Season 6 weapons in Warzone too?

Yes. All four list camo and Customize unlocks across Endgame, Multiplayer, Zombies and Warzone.
