The Black Ops 7 Zombies Super Easter Egg unlocks once you complete the Main Quest on all six round-based maps (Directed Mode counts). Each map then gets a toy quest: collect all six toys, exfil with each, place them on the shelf in Rex Infernus and survive the Playdate with The Twins boss rush. Rewards: The Warden Operator, Memento Mori skins and the Mister Peeks Mayhem relic.
Treyarch confirmed the Super Easter Egg in the Season 06 announcement, which went live with the season on September 17, 2026, but deliberately kept the steps secret (“No spoilers…”). The step-by-step below therefore comes from the community-run Call of Duty Wiki and Dexerto’s walkthrough, both written after players finished it in the first week. Our Season 6 Zombies guide covers Tenshu, Rogue Run and Rex Infernus itself.
How to unlock the Super Easter Egg in Black Ops 7 Zombies
The official requirement is one line: complete every Main Quest across all of Black Ops 7’s round-based maps. The wiki adds that Standard, Cursed and Directed Mode completions all count, and Directed Mode is confirmed as counting in the community coverage too. The six maps are:
- Ashes of the Damned
- Astra Malorum
- Paradox Junction
- Totenreich
- Kowakujō
- Rex Infernus (Directed Mode arrived for it on September 17 with a round-15 cap)

Once all six are done, a new side quest appears on every map. The wiki notes each of those quests also pays out during the match with a Wonder Weapon, an Aether Crystal and an Aether Tool, so they are worth running even if you never finish the whole hunt.
BO7 Weapons LevelingSix main quests plus six toy quests is a lot of rounds on loadout guns; we level the weapons you bring in so the chain starts from a maxed build. From $9.99View offerAll 6 toys: the Twins’ toy quest on each map
Everything in this section is community-documented (Call of Duty Wiki, checked September 24; Dexerto walkthrough, September 19). The two sources agree on the order of events; the wiki has more detail on Totenreich, Kowakujō and Rex Infernus, so those follow the wiki. You can do the first five in any order; Rex Infernus must be last. You must exfil with the toy for it to count.
Ashes of the Damned: Ol’ Tessie toy
Build the Necrofluid Gauntlet. Find The Twins playing on the map (Ashwood, the fog between Blackwater Lake and Ashwood, or on the boat in the fog between Vandorn Farm and Ashwood). They vanish and the toy box appears on top of the Farm windmill under a storm cloud. Drag the box down with the Gauntlet, clear the storm with Dark Flare, then pull three pink crystals off the monoliths between Janus Towers Plaza and Blackwater Lake. A meteor crashes near the lake entrance; interact, advance a round, collect the Element 115 rock, put it in the box, take the toy, exfil.
Astra Malorum: Caltheris toy
Prerequisites: the LGM-1, access to Mars, Ol’ Tessie’s DG-2 turret repaired, and the Time Dilation and Wisp Orb side quests. Blow up the toy box outside the map near the Arsenal and keep blowing it up as it drifts toward the Crash Site until it settles on a cliff; pull it down with an LT53 Kazimir, then lure O.S.C.A.R. into the electric field and kill him with the DG-2 turret. Use the telescope, trigger Time Dilation, charge the two gold discs on Mars with Shock Charges, and read the UFO’s Morse code (. . = Space Suit, – = Toilet, . . – . = Flamingo, . – . . = Lava Lamp). Throw an upgraded Wisp Orb at the objects in that order, hand the Little Green Man to the box, take the Caltheris toy, exfil.
Paradox Junction: Mrs. Peeks toy
Equip a Psych Grenade before the match. In Pre-Nuke Nuketown, interact with the chalk toy box near the Temporal Conduit, throw the Psych Grenade at the chalk question mark on the yellow house’s second floor, interact with the key it becomes, then the box. Back in nuked Nuketown, collect six Mrs. Peeks parts (yellow house upstairs, the bunker in the green house’s backyard, the RC-XD garage, two Trinity Avenue roofs, the truck bed by Pack-a-Punch). Then a timed chase: grab three glowing Mrs. Peeks dolls in a row; fail and you retry next round. Place her in the box, take the toy, exfil.
Totenreich: The Guardian toy
Behind Astrid Loven’s antique shop an iceberg holds the toy box. Activate Wild Fire and fish at the nearest spot to pull it out, then thaw the box with any fire (Wild Fire, Molotov, Jotunn Star, Napalm Burst). Aggro Draugvald the Undying at the graves outside the mausoleum, pick up the crossbow on the lighthouse’s second-floor landing, kill the king with it, take his crown to the box, collect The Guardian, exfil.
Kowakujō: Z-Rex toy
Unlock Pack-a-Punch. The box spins above the wall that opens to the rooftops; take a Cherry Blossom Tree buff and spin in circles beneath it to knock it down. A bird circles the Tenshu Entrance tree; activate the trees at Kitchens, Staging Area and Training Area in that order, then spin again on the flat rock in Central Courtyard. The bird drops an origami figure; put it in the box, take the Z-Rex, exfil.
Rex Infernus: The Warden toy
Interact with the toy shelf holding your five toys, upgrade the Void Claw into the Void Talon, then grapple to the lock under the bridge near Nyxaras Passage for a parkour route to Her House. Open the box with Aether Shroud. Three horses float around the map (near Juggernog, Widow’s Wine and PhD Flopper); grapple to each and melee it. Each drops its item only after a kill type: shoes for kills while jumping, skates for PhD Flopper kills, jump rope for Frenzied Guard kills. Return everything to the box, take the Warden toy and place it on the shelf. Every player must place the toy individually or they miss the final rewards.
Playdate with The Twins: the boss rush
With all six toys on the shelf, the Playdate with The Twins activity opens on Rex Infernus in Standard and Cursed. It is a boss rush: The Guardian, Caltheris, the Z-Rex and finally The Warden, one after another. Killing The Warden completes the Super Easter Egg and awards the final rewards to everyone who placed their toy.

Bring the Void Talon and whatever Wonder Weapon the toy quests handed you; the wiki lists no round requirement for the Playdate, and none has been confirmed.
Super Easter Egg rewards: The Warden, Memento Mori and Mister Peeks Mayhem

- The Warden Operator — the only reward Activision named in advance. A paid “Gravewind” alternate skin for the Warden is sold separately in a Season 06 bundle.
- Memento Mori skins — black-and-purple Operator skins for any Dark Aether Crew or Ex-Requiem character used to complete the Playdate. Community coverage counts eight; the official post does not give a number.
- Mister Peeks Mayhem — a special relic for Cursed Standard only (not Cursed Survival). Equipping it fills the Tier meter to III on its own and turns the match into a mode of the same name: Golden Armor, Ultra rarity and Pack-a-Punch IV without other relics, Der Wunderfizz always available with random Eternal Perks from 5,000 Essence, cheaper Pack-a-Punch (7,500 / 20,000 / 40,000 / 60,000 Essence for levels I–IV instead of 10,000 / 25,000 / 50,000 / 100,000), a Mystery Box weighted toward Wonder Weapons and Ultra rarity, and upgraded Lucky Eggs from Mister Peeks (Ray Gun and Ray Gun Mark II in silver eggs, an Ultra Ballistic Knife and Cataclysmic Aetherium Crystal in gold). It does not take a relic slot, so Grim, Sinister and Wicked relic trials still progress alongside it.
Those Mayhem numbers are from the wiki’s relic page; Activision has not published the mode’s rules.
Black Ops 7 Zombies services and COD Points
There is no dedicated Super Easter Egg carry on the store yet. What we do run for Black Ops 7 is the grind around it: the loadout weapons you take into all twelve quests, the Season 06 Battle Pass, and the COD Points the paid Gravewind Warden skin bundle costs.

Does Directed Mode count toward the Super Easter Egg?
Yes. Directed Mode completions count, per the community coverage; the wiki also lists Standard and Cursed.
Can I do the toy quests in any order?
Yes for the first five. Rex Infernus must be last, and its quest does not start until the other five toys are on the shelf.
Do I lose the toy if I do not exfil?
Yes. You must successfully exfil with each toy for it to count.
Is Mister Peeks Mayhem available in Cursed Survival?
No. It is Cursed Standard only.
Do all players get the rewards?
Only players who placed their own Warden toy on the shelf before the Playdate. Have everyone place it individually.
Is there a round requirement for the Playdate?
Not confirmed. Neither Activision nor the wiki lists one.
