Helldivers 2 has 20 Boosters as of September 28, 2026. Six come from the free Helldivers Mobilize! Warbond, including Vitality Enhancement, Stamina Enhancement and Hellpod Space Optimization. The other 14 sit in 13 Premium Warbonds, with Ironclad Democracy the only one holding two. Each Booster is a one-time Medal unlock, and each player can equip one, so a full squad can run up to four different Boosters.
A Booster is a passive effect you pick on the loadout screen before you drop. Its effect covers the whole squad for that mission, not just the player who picked it. The list, effects, Warbond pages and Medal costs below come from the community-run Helldivers Wiki’s Boosters table and its individual Booster pages, checked on September 28, 2026. Arrowhead does not publish one official list, so treat the percentages in particular as wiki figures, not official stats.

“P3” means page 3 of that Warbond. Helldivers Mobilize! is free for every player; every other Warbond here is a Premium Warbond you must unlock with Super Credits before you can spend Medals in it.

Added up from that table, the six free Boosters cost 370 Medals and the 14 Premium ones cost 738, so all 20 come to 1,108 Medals. That figure is only the Booster prices. Pages also have to be opened first: the wiki’s Helldivers Mobilize! page shows page 10 opens only after 1,200 Medals have been spent in that Warbond, so Increased Reinforcement Budget is the slowest free Booster to reach by a wide margin. If Medals are your bottleneck, our guide on how to farm Medals covers where they come from.
The wiki’s Booster table lists none from the other Premium Warbonds (such as Chemical Agents, Control Group or Python Commandos) or from the three Legendary Warbonds. If you are choosing a Warbond partly for its Booster, only the 13 in the table above carry one.

The Warbond FAQ that Arrowhead posted on the official Helldivers Discord (mirrored on the wiki’s Warbonds page) says you have to own a Warbond before you can spend Medals on anything inside it. After that, a Booster is a permanent unlock, not a consumable.
The squad rules below come from the Helldivers Wiki and from player answers on the Steam forums, not from an official Arrowhead rules page:
- One per player, four per squad. The wiki’s Boosters page says each Helldiver equips their own Booster, up to four unique ones per mission.
- The same Booster does not stack. Once a squadmate has picked a Booster, it greys out for everyone else. Players describe this in a Steam thread on whether Boosters are one-time use and another from February 2024 on greyed-out Boosters.
- One copy covers everyone. The effect applies to the whole squad, so there is no reason for two players to own and bring the same one.
- Effects can outlast the player. The wiki’s Increased Reinforcement Budget page says its effect stays if the player who picked it disconnects or is kicked. Steam players report that a leaver’s Booster can also stay greyed out while its effect is still active, and that the loadout screen sometimes shows the wrong state when you join a mission already in progress.
In practice this means squads split the job: whoever owns a rarer Premium Booster brings that one, and the free Mobilize! Boosters fill the rest.
Survival Boosters: Vitality Enhancement, Experimental Infusion and more
These four reduce the damage you take or get you back into the fight faster. The numbers are from each Booster’s wiki page.
- Vitality Enhancement (Helldivers Mobilize!, P4, 20 Medals): the in-game text says “minor damage reduction”; the wiki puts it at 10% less damage taken, which also lowers the chance of limb injuries.
- Experimental Infusion (Viper Commandos, P3, 80 Medals): stims also give 10% more movement speed and 10% extra damage resistance for a short time, according to the wiki. The trade-off is 25% more aiming sway and a green visual haze.
- Integrated Extinguishers (Ironclad Democracy, P3, 65 Medals): Arrowhead’s September 15, 2026 PlayStation Blog post says it cuts the time to put out flames. The wiki measures the self-extinguish time dropping from 3 seconds to about 1.
- Motivational Shocks (Polar Patriots, P1, 15 Medals): shortens slows and stuns. The wiki lists Tremors slows cut from 10 to 7.5 seconds and most stuns halved, but also notes that it currently does not shorten the acid slow its own description mentions.

Movement Boosters: Stamina Enhancement, Muscle Enhancement, Dead Sprint
- Stamina Enhancement (Helldivers Mobilize!, P7, 75 Medals): the wiki gives +22.5% maximum stamina and +40% stamina regeneration. It notes this partly offsets planets with Intense Heat, which halves maximum stamina.
- Muscle Enhancement (Helldivers Mobilize!, P9, 70 Medals): less slowdown in sandstorms, blizzards, water, snow, mud, foliage and barbed wire, and from Terminid acid. The wiki says it does nothing for plain sand, hills, vaulting or Tremors.
- Dead Sprint (Truth Enforcers, P1, 35 Medals): keep sprinting at zero stamina by spending health. Per the wiki, that drain is about 3.6% health per second, lasting up to 25 seconds and stopping at 5% health. With Vitality Enhancement in the squad, the drain drops to about 1% per second.

Reinforcement and extraction Boosters
- Increased Reinforcement Budget (Helldivers Mobilize!, P10, 150 Medals): +1 starting reinforcement per Helldiver, so a solo player goes from 5 to 6.
- Flexible Reinforcement Budget (Steeled Veterans, P3, 75 Medals): once reinforcements run out, the 2:00 wait for a new one drops to 1:30 (25% shorter). The wiki points out this is most useful solo.
- Expert Extraction Pilot (Democratic Detonation, P2, 55 Medals): the shuttle arrives 30% sooner, turning a 2:00 call-in into 1:24. It does nothing on missions where the shuttle lands right after the objective.

Hellpod, resupply and support weapon Boosters
Six Boosters change what happens when pods land or what they carry.
- Hellpod Space Optimization (Helldivers Mobilize!, P3, 15 Medals): you deploy and reinforce with full ammo, grenades and stims, up to whatever your armor lets you carry.
- Armed Resupply Pods (Urban Legends, P2, 55 Medals): each resupply pod gets an automatic AR-23 Liberator Penetrator that fires on enemies within 30 metres until its ammo runs out or the pod is destroyed.
- Surplus EAT Allocation (Ironclad Democracy, P2, 55 Medals): the PlayStation Blog post describes two free Expendable Anti-Tank uses per mission, enough for one launcher per squad member. The wiki adds that any squadmate can call it in, and the two charges cannot be rearmed.
- Firebomb Hellpods (Freedom’s Flame, P3, 60 Medals): every Hellpod, including stratagem pods, bursts into fire on landing. The wiki warns it can hit your own squad and destroy sentries dropped close together.
- Stun Pods (Force of Law, P2, 55 Medals): Hellpods stun anything near the drop site.
- Concealed Insertion (Redacted Regiment, P3, 40 Medals): Hellpods release smoke on impact. The wiki says enemies can only see a Helldiver inside smoke from under 10 metres.

Surplus EAT Allocation and Integrated Extinguishers both arrived with the Ironclad Democracy Warbond on September 22, 2026. Our Ironclad Democracy Warbond breakdown lists everything else on those pages.
Recon and sample Boosters: UAV Recon Booster, Sample Scanner
- UAV Recon Booster (Helldivers Mobilize!, P6, 40 Medals): the wiki puts the radar range increase at about 50%. Each player’s radar pings are their own, and it does not work under the Atmospheric Spores modifier.
- Localization Confusion (Cutting Edge, P1, 18 Medals): lengthens the cooldown between enemy reinforcement calls (bug breaches, bot drops, Illuminate ships) by roughly 15%, per the wiki. It does not change patrol spawns or the size of a reinforcement wave.
- Sample Extricator (Borderline Justice, P3, 65 Medals): large enemies can drop Common Samples, capped at 10 drops per mission. It does little on low difficulties with few large enemies.
- Sample Scanner (Masters of Ceremony, P3, 65 Medals): a 15% chance to get double Samples when you pick them up.

The two sample Boosters only add to what a mission already offers, so they pair with knowing where samples spawn.
Which Helldivers 2 Boosters players pick first
There is no official Booster tier list. What follows is community opinion from Steam forum threads, not measured data, and both threads predate some of the newer Boosters.
- A June 2025 Steam post by ressenmacher, Booster Improvement Suggestions, complains that players keep taking the same four: Vitality Enhancement, Hellpod Space Optimization, Stamina Enhancement and Experimental Infusion.
- A January 2025 Booster Tier List thread put Vitality, Stamina and Experimental Infusion at the top. Replies disagreed on Dead Sprint and Muscle Enhancement, and one pointed out that Stamina Enhancement matters less when the whole squad wears light armor.
The overlap is that three of those four are free on Helldivers Mobilize! pages 3, 4 and 7. Experimental Infusion is the one that needs a Premium Warbond (Viper Commandos). Because Boosters do not stack, a squad where two people own only those four will still end up bringing something else. If you are deciding which Premium Warbond to buy, see our Premium Warbonds ranked list, and the newest Warbond page tracks what is coming next.

Do Boosters stack in Helldivers 2?
No. The same Booster can only be active once per squad; after one player picks it, it greys out for the others. Four different Boosters is the maximum.
Are Boosters used up after a mission?
No. A Booster is a permanent unlock you buy once with Medals and can bring on any mission afterwards.
Can you get Boosters without buying a Premium Warbond?
Yes, six of them: Hellpod Space Optimization, Vitality Enhancement, UAV Recon Booster, Stamina Enhancement, Muscle Enhancement and Increased Reinforcement Budget, all from the free Helldivers Mobilize! Warbond. The other 14 need a Premium Warbond.
What does Vitality Enhancement do exactly?
The game describes it as minor damage reduction from all sources for the whole squad. The Helldivers Wiki puts it at 10% less damage taken; Arrowhead has not published an official number.
Which Warbond has the most Boosters?
Helldivers Mobilize! has six. Among Premium Warbonds, Ironclad Democracy is the only one with two; every other Premium Warbond in the wiki’s table has one.
