The Helldivers 2 Major Order announced on October 30, 2026 asks for 35,000,000 Automaton samples and 60,000,000 Cyborg kills. It ends at about 16:12 UTC on Monday, November 2, and offers 35 Medals if completed. At 10:01 UTC on October 31 the samples stood at 23.2% and the Cyborg kills at 5.7%.
This guide covers the end time in your time zone, the two targets and where progress stands, the Cyborg enemy types, and what is and is not confirmed about how the order counts. The order follows the failed Democratic Sniper Major Order, and the story picks up from there.
Cyborg Major Order end time in every time zone
The end time comes from the expiry field in Arrowhead’s live game data, which we read through helldivers2.dev, a community-run mirror of the game server. It read 16:12 UTC on November 2. The conversions below are ours. The US moves back to standard time on November 1, so US times use EST and PST.
| Time zone | Major Order ends |
|---|---|
| UTC | 16:12, Monday, November 2 |
| US Pacific (PST) | 8:12 a.m., Monday, November 2 |
| US Eastern (EST) | 11:12 a.m., Monday, November 2 |
| UK (GMT) | 4:12 p.m., Monday, November 2 |
| Central Europe (CET) | 5:12 p.m., Monday, November 2 |
| China (CST) | 12:12 a.m., Tuesday, November 3 |
| Sydney / Melbourne (AEDT) | 3:12 a.m., Tuesday, November 3 |
Arrowhead can change an order while it runs. With the previous Democratic Sniper order, the community-run Helldivers Wiki Major Orders page records the remaining requirements being reduced by 50% after the Nivel 43 success. Check the in-game timer before planning your last dives.
The two targets: 35 million samples and 60 million Cyborgs
The “NEW MAJOR ORDER” dispatch went out at 16:02 UTC on October 30. It says the memorial part of the planned “Malevelon Creek Memorial & Interrogation Center for Human Rights” has been dropped, and that Helldivers are ordered to “acquire 35,000,000 Automaton samples and kill 60,000,000 Cyborgs” to help develop new “digital interrogation techniques”.
| Task | Target | Progress at 10:01 UTC, Oct 31 |
|---|---|---|
| Acquire Automaton samples | 35,000,000 | 8,131,647 (23.2%) |
| Kill Cyborgs | 60,000,000 | 3,414,198 (5.7%) |
The game data lists one reward for the whole order: 35 Medals if the order is completed. It does not say whether finishing only one of the two tasks pays anything, so that is not confirmed. At that reading the Cyborg task was much further from its target than the sample task.
Medals are what you spend on Warbond pages. If you want to see how long 35 Medals takes to earn in normal play, our Medals farming guide lists every source.

Cyborgs are a subfaction of the Automatons. Arrowhead’s Machinery of Oppression announcement from February 10, 2026 introduced three Cyborg enemy types:
- Radicals rush you from every side and fight up close.
- Agitators are heavily armored and command the Automaton troops around them.
- Vox Engines are war machines piloted by a high-ranking Cyborg officer, armed with laser cannons, rockets and laser gatlings.
The Major Order text only says “Cyborgs”. Whether all three types count toward the 60 million, and whether ordinary Automaton bots near them count, is not confirmed. Arrowhead has also not said which planets currently field Cyborgs.

How to fight Radicals and Agitators
The tips below come from the community-run Helldivers Wiki, not from Arrowhead. The wiki lists both units on difficulty 4 and up; these are not Arrowhead figures.
- Radicals have 750 health and no armor, so heavy hits can stagger them and interrupt their kicks. The wiki says the head can be destroyed in one shot by high-damage weapons such as the Anti-Materiel Rifle and the Dominator, and that explosive weapons like the Purifier and Eruptor work well if you keep your distance.
- Radicals throw smoke grenades to cover their advance. The wiki says these glow white and can be kicked away.
- Agitators wear armor that deflects small-arms fire until enough gunfire breaks it, which stuns them for a couple of seconds. Per the wiki’s Agitator page, they take command of nearby Troopers, Devastators and Berserkers, which then move faster, attack more often and aim better. The wiki adds that if the Agitator dies, those units briefly stall before returning to normal.

Automaton samples: what the order says and how samples work
The order only asks for “Automaton samples”. It does not say how they are counted: whether they must come from Automaton planets, whether Common, Rare and Super samples all count, or whether they count when picked up or when extracted. None of that is confirmed.
What is documented is how samples work in normal play. The community-run Helldivers Wiki currencies page says samples are carried by the Helldiver who picks them up, are dropped if that player dies, and have to be carried into the extraction vehicle to be earned at the end of the mission. The same page lists Rare samples on Challenging difficulty and higher, and Super samples on Extreme and higher. Our sample locations guide covers where each kind spawns, and the Common samples farming guide lists how many each difficulty gives.

When does the Helldivers 2 Cyborg Major Order end?
At about 16:12 UTC on Monday, November 2, 2026, which is 11:12 a.m. EST and 8:12 a.m. PST. Arrowhead can change the timer while the order runs.
What is the reward for the Cyborg Major Order?
35 Medals if the whole order is completed. Whether completing only one of the two tasks pays anything is not confirmed.
Do Rare and Super samples count?
Not confirmed. The dispatch only says “Automaton samples” and does not name a rarity.
Do Vox Engines count as Cyborg kills?
Not confirmed. Arrowhead lists the Vox Engine as part of the Cyborg subfaction, but the order only says “Cyborgs”.
What happened to the Malevelon Creek Memorial?
The October 30 dispatch says enemy aggression made the full project impossible, so it was downscoped to the Interrogation Center for Human Rights alone. That came a day after the Democratic Sniper order failed on October 29.
