If your Helldivers 2 Super Credits are not showing, check six things: a server payout delay, a store purchase stuck on the platform side, a PSN region mismatch, Warbond credits you have not unlocked with Medals, a different account or platform, or lost access to a Warbond. As of September 28, 2026, Arrowhead’s known-issues list has no Super Credits bug.
A separate, disputed Steam-community report says replaying an already-looted mission may prevent a second payout; Arrowhead has not confirmed that behavior.
Super Credits are the premium currency. Arrowhead’s support page on the game’s currencies says they can be bought or found during missions, and are spent on Warbonds and Superstore armor. This page works through each way they can go missing. If you only want more of them, our guide on how to farm Super Credits covers the routes.
Super Credits not showing: quick checklist
Run through these in order before you open a ticket. Each step links to the section that explains it.
- Found in a mission? Check whether the squad had bad lag. Some players also report that replaying a mission you had already looted gives no second payout (community-reported and unconfirmed). See the in-mission section below.
- Bought in a store? Confirm the payment went through in your Steam, PlayStation or Microsoft purchase history, then restart the game.
- On PlayStation? Make sure you bought from the same region as your PSN account.
- From a Warbond? The Super Credit stacks on a Warbond page cost Medals to unlock. They are not added when you buy the Warbond.
- Balance suddenly dropped? Check whether you stopped Steam Family Sharing or refunded the Super Citizen Edition.
- Still missing? Store purchases go to the platform’s support team. Everything in-game goes to Arrowhead Player Support.
Is there a Super Credits bug in patch 7.1.0?
Not an acknowledged one. The Devoid of Liberty 7.1.0 patch notes of September 22, 2026 do not mention Super Credits. The 7.1.1 hotfix two days later only fixed two crashes, one with terminals in fullscreen and one with superwide windows. Arrowhead’s Known Issues page, last updated September 28, 2026, lists no Super Credits problem either.
That page says it only lists confirmed issues due to be fixed, and that it is not exhaustive. So a missing Super Credits bug is not ruled out. It just has not been confirmed. Of these recent patches, only 7.0.0 explicitly mentions Super Credits, and it changed where they spawn, not how they are credited:
| Patch | Date | What it says about Super Credits or loot |
|---|---|---|
| 7.0.0 | August 12, 2026 | Super Credits can now be found on Factory Worlds; fixed a bug that stopped them spawning in Factory Cities |
| 7.1.0 | September 22, 2026 | “Improved reward caches and spawn amounts in Mega Cities”; no Super Credits fix listed |
| 7.1.1 | September 24, 2026 | Crash fixes only |
Earlier problems were acknowledged and fixed. The patch 01.002.001 notes from December 2024 say some players did not immediately receive Super Credit purchases under heavy server load. In February 2024, Arrowhead’s community team told players that some purchased credits were not displaying because of a filtering issue, and that the credits were not actually lost, as PCGamesN reported.
Super Credits picked up in a mission not showing
The community-run Helldivers Wiki, not Arrowhead, describes how pickups work. Super Credits are credited to every Helldiver in the mission the moment anyone picks them up. They stay on your account even if the squad abandons the mission without extracting. So “we didn’t extract” is not the reason they are missing.

You replayed a mission you had already looted
This part comes from community reports on the Steam forums, not from Arrowhead. In an August 2024 Steam thread, a player said that quitting and replaying a mission no longer gives the same Super Credits again, and that you only get them once per mission. In an earlier July 2024 thread, one player made the same claim and another disputed it. Arrowhead has not documented this rule. If you went back into a mission and a pile did not add anything, this community-reported rule is one possible reason.
Lag or a delayed payout
Arrowhead has told players more than once that payouts can lag behind play. Its patch notes in May and June 2024 carried the known issue “Players may experience delays in Medals and Super Credits payouts.” Its May 19, 2026 maintenance notice warned of “delays in reward payouts” and said Super Credits could not be bought or spent during the window.
Players in a July 2024 Steam thread also reported that credits can arrive later, and that a laggy player in the squad can break pickups. That is community experience, not an official statement. Arrowhead has not given a time limit for a delayed payout.
You are finding fewer, not losing them
Fewer pickups is a different problem from pickups going missing. The wiki says Super Credits come from Minor Places of Interest, which spawn more densely on Trivial to Medium difficulty, and that Eradicate missions have none. If you are playing high difficulties, you may find fewer per run. The farming guide linked at the top of this page goes through the maps and difficulties.
Bought Super Credits not showing on Steam, PlayStation or Xbox
Arrowhead is the developer, not the store. Its item refund policy page says it cannot process any money transactions, and sends players with purchased Super Credits problems to the support team of the platform they bought from.
Steam
- Check your Steam purchase history to confirm the payment completed, rather than failing or staying pending.
- Fully close and restart the game. Arrowhead’s patch 01.001.00 notes from September 2024 fixed a bug where closing the Steam overlay mid-purchase broke later purchases until the game was restarted.
- If the payment went through and the credits never arrived, contact Steam Support about that purchase.
PlayStation
Region is the big one. Arrowhead’s PlayStation purchase article says Sony’s cross-region rules block the entitlement. If your PSN account is European and you bought Super Credits from the US store, you will not receive them. Arrowhead’s fix is to ask PlayStation Support for a refund and buy again from your account’s own region.
For everything else, Sony’s add-on troubleshooting page says purchased in-game currency appears the next time you launch the game. If it does not, it suggests these steps:
- Check your transaction history to confirm the purchase went through.
- Make sure you are signed in to the same account you bought with.
- Restore licenses on your console.
- If you still don’t have it, contact PlayStation Support.
Xbox
Arrowhead has no Xbox-specific article on missing Super Credits. The same rule applies: check the order in your Microsoft account order history, restart the game, and if the order completed but nothing arrived, contact Xbox Support. Arrowhead cannot refund or re-deliver a store purchase.
Super Credits from a Warbond not showing
Buying a Warbond does not add Super Credits by itself. According to the Helldivers Wiki, every Premium Warbond has a stack of 100 Super Credits on each page, 300 in total. You unlock each stack with Medals, at 7, 12 or 32 Medals depending on the page. The free Helldivers Mobilize! Warbond holds 750 in total. Legendary Warbonds contain no Super Credits at all.

If you are short of Medals to unlock those stacks, our guide on how to farm Medals covers where they come from. If you want to know which Warbond pages are worth the Medals first, see every Warbond ranked.
Your balance dropped after Family Sharing or a refund
Arrowhead’s article on lost items and Super Credits explains this one. If you borrowed Helldivers 2 through Steam Family Sharing, you also got the owner’s DLC, which can include Warbonds. Once the sharing stops, you lose access to any Warbond you don’t own yourself, including the Super Credits inside it. DLC is not shared between accounts on console.
Negative or billions of Super Credits
This comes from the Steeled Veterans Warbond, which the Super Citizen Edition unlocks automatically. Arrowhead’s negative balance article sets out the chain of events:
- You unlock the Super Credit packs on Steeled Veterans.
- You then refund the Super Citizen Edition, or lose it because it came through Family Sharing.
- The game takes those Super Credits back, which can push your balance below zero.
A visual bug can show the negative number as billions instead. Arrowhead says that display is only visual, and the real balance is still negative. The credits come back if you buy the Super Citizen Edition again or unlock Steeled Veterans with Super Credits. Otherwise, credits you pick up in missions are added normally until you are back above zero.

Super Credits on a different platform or account
Helldivers 2 has cross-play between PC, PlayStation and Xbox, but no cross-progression. Arrowhead’s cross-progression article is blunt about it:
- Linking your Steam and PSN accounts does not copy game data between the PC and PS5 versions.
- Player Support will not merge accounts or move items or progress from one account to another.
- Arrowhead says it has no plans to add cross-progression.
So Super Credits bought or earned on PS5 will never show on your Steam copy, and the other way round. The same goes for a second account on the same platform.
When unusually high Super Credit earnings get flagged
On July 9, 2026, Arrowhead announced tighter monitoring of suspicious Super Credit activity. It targets accounts that earn credits at “an unreasonably high rate”, well above the highest legitimate players on record, through cheats, bots or duplication exploits. Arrowhead says normal play, including long grinding sessions, is not affected, and that the same checks are rolling out for Medals, Samples and Requisition.
The post does not explain what happens to a flagged account’s credits. It does say that if something seems off with your account, the Player Support team will review your case.
How to contact Arrowhead support about missing Super Credits
Use Arrowhead’s Player Support request form for anything that happened inside the game: pickups, Warbond stacks, a negative balance or a flagged account. For a store purchase that never arrived, go to Steam, PlayStation or Xbox support instead, because Arrowhead cannot handle payments.
Arrowhead does not publish a list of what to include with a missing Super Credits ticket. Useful details are your platform, your account ID, roughly when it happened and how many credits are missing. Keep receipts for the platform support team, since purchases go through them.

Do you have to extract to keep Super Credits?
No. The community-run Helldivers Wiki says Super Credits are credited to the whole squad on pickup and kept even if you abandon the mission.
Is there a Super Credits bug in Helldivers 2 right now?
Not confirmed. Arrowhead’s Known Issues page, updated September 28, 2026, does not list one, and patches 7.1.0 and 7.1.1 do not mention Super Credits.
Why didn’t my PlayStation Super Credits purchase arrive?
Arrowhead says a likely cause is buying from a different region than your PSN account. Ask PlayStation Support for a refund and buy from your account’s region.
Can I move Super Credits from PS5 to PC?
No. Helldivers 2 has no cross-progression, and Player Support will not transfer currency or items between accounts.
Why is my Super Credits balance negative or in the billions?
You unlocked Super Credits on Steeled Veterans and then lost the Super Citizen Edition through a refund or Family Sharing. The billions figure is a visual bug; the real balance is negative.
