MW4 Boot Camp Event: All 9 Challenges and F.N.G. Blueprint

According to Game Rant’s October 22 guide, the MW4 Boot Camp event runs from October 22 to November 6, 2026, with nine challenges across the Campaign, DMZ and Multiplayer. Each gives a reward, including two 30-minute Double XP tokens and two 30-minute Double Weapon XP tokens, and finishing all nine unlocks the F.N.G. Epic blueprint for the M4.

Activision’s launch patch notes confirm that the first event starts on launch day, but they do not name it or list its challenges. The challenge list, rewards and times below come from Game Rant’s October 22 Boot Camp guide, which reproduces the in-game event screen. That makes it a single media source, not an official post.

All 9 MW4 Boot Camp challenges and rewards

The slowest challenge for most players is Apex Skills. Apex attachments only unlock when a supported weapon reaches its Max Level, 72 on the Han 86 for example, so you need one fully levelled gun before the 20 kills can even start. MW4 Boot Camp start and end times

The converted rows account for US and UK clocks changing before November 6. The start lines up with midnight on October 23 in New Zealand, the first region where MW4 unlocked, and the end matches the Season 1 date of November 6. The in-game event card in Game Rant’s screenshot reads “Ends in 15D 6H”. Infinity Ward says MW4 events can recur, so players who miss the top reward may get another chance later; whether Boot Camp itself returns is not confirmed.

How to finish the Boot Camp challenges fast

Most challenges sit in a specific mode, so it saves time to group them:

• Campaign first. Mayhem is the first Campaign mission, so one mission clears it.
• One DMZ session for three challenges. Kill 20 enemies, print 5 items at the 3D Printer, and keep playing until DMZ Level 5. The 3D Printer is one of the first DMZ unlocks, as shown in our MW4 DMZ level unlocks list.
• Proving Grounds is solo. The Intermediate Mobility Course needs a B score, with no other players involved.
• Mode-specific Multiplayer. Kill Block, Combat Outpost and Inflation each need their own playlist. The rules for Inflation and Combat Outpost are in our MW4 new modes guide.

Kill Block is a Gunfight map for 3v3 and 10v10 where every player gets the same randomized loadout, so the 10 headshots depend on which guns come up. Combat Outpost is the 32v32 Ground War mode; the vehicle kills count only there.

Save the four tokens for later. The official Call of Duty account said on September 28, as reported by Insider Gaming, that MW4 Double XP tokens count down only during matches, so a 30-minute token gives 30 minutes of play. F.N.G. blueprint: the Boot Camp mastery reward

Finish all nine challenges and you unlock F.N.G., an Epic weapon blueprint for the M4 assault rifle. The in-game preview in Game Rant’s screenshot shows it with an 18″ LE Crosswind barrel, SZ Lonewolf Flip optic, Underbarrel Grenade Launcher and Brace DX Grip rear grip.
