Hajin is Warzone’s new large Battle Royale map, arriving with Season 1 on November 6, 2026. It covers North and South Korea across 13 major POIs, from the 14th Political Prison and Chang-san Air Base in the north to The Grid and Wolves Stadium in Hajin City. It is the same region as DMZ, with a different gas circle, loot and vehicles.
The Battle Royale details come from Activision’s Warzone Season 1 overview of November 2. Season 1 also resets Player Level across Multiplayer, DMZ and Warzone, and our MW4 boosting page covers leveling and camo work if you want a head start.

All 13 Hajin POIs from the official DMZ tour
Activision’s Warzone post says Hajin has 13 major POIs and links to its DMZ Tour of Hajin for the full list. The locations and descriptions below come from that DMZ tour, so loot and enemy details may not match Battle Royale. This is not a tested Warzone layout.

Hajin City and the North Korean side
Activision describes Hajin City’s center as towering buildings, barricaded roads and fortified positions that reward squads who move together. The Grid, NuriGO Mall, Songdo Wharf, Wolves Stadium and Hajin River Heights sit in or around the city. The DMZ tour warns that The Grid has few ground-level escape routes and lots of rooftop fighting.
Farther out, the map turns rural. Imjin Farmland is mostly exposed ground, where Activision expects long-range fights. Over the border, the North Korean side holds the 14th Political Prison, Chang-san Air Base and Deadtown.

How Battle Royale Hajin differs from DMZ
DMZ players already know Hajin, but Activision lists these differences in the Battle Royale version:
- Circle: the Edge Circle and Gas move through the match in a different way.
- Haneul Nuclear Reactor: there is no radioactive cloud over it in Battle Royale.
- Vehicles: the available vehicles are different.
- Loot: interactable objects and loot caches are placed differently.
Warzone’s Season 1 vehicle list includes the Sedan, Grizzly, Polaris DAGOR, Cargo Truck, LTV, Aston Martin Dreadnought, Helo and RHIB. Activision gives that list for Warzone as a whole, not per map. For the DMZ version of the region, see our MW4 DMZ guide.
Hajin weather: fog, wind, rain and storms
Hajin has variable weather. Activision lists clear skies, fog, wind, rain and distant storms, with local weather patterns that change how the map looks. It says the teams worked to keep visibility playable whatever the weather.

The Hajin Gulag
Hajin brings a new Gulag. After your first elimination in Battle Royale, you are sent to one of two versions of it and fight a 1v1 to redeploy. Win and you drop back in; lose and you are out.
- Layout: both are small, symmetrical rectangles. One has partial walls over open ground; the other has small sheds over a flagstone walkway.
- Spectating: you can watch from ground level for the first time.
- Movement: you can mantle much of the cover.
- Weather: both versions are outdoors and affected by the local weather.

Which Warzone modes use Hajin
- Battle Royale and Battle Royale Casual: on Hajin, and on Verdansk once it returns later in Season 1. No date has been given; see our Verdansk return guide.
- Massive Resurgence: a limited-time mode on Hajin for up to 120 players, with Resurgence redeploys on the large map.
The smaller Resurgence map is Zodiac, covered in our Warzone Zodiac map guide. If you are chasing camos on the new maps, our Warzone Mastery Camos guide lists the three challenges.
