The Buried City JKV Employee Access Card opens a locked room on the fourth floor, north side, of the J Kozma Ventures building — the one signposted Space Travel. It is an Uncommon card, weighs 0.25, sells for 100 Creds, and drops from scavenging only. Buried City unlocks after six rounds, so this is one of the earliest key rooms you can reach.

Two things make this card worth knowing. The building is easy to identify from outside — it is the Space Travel frontage, not a generic villa — and Buried City is the second map you unlock, which means you can be opening this room long before the later maps are available to you. Our running index of all ARC Raiders key locations has the rest.
Before the details: Embark does not publish key or door locations. Everything below comes from the community-run ARC Raiders Wiki, checked on September 23, 2026.
Where the JKV Employee Access Card door is
The wiki is specific for this one. The card “opens a locked room in the North side of the J Kozma Ventures (Space Travel) building in Buried City on the Fourth Floor.” That is three pieces of information — building, floor, side — which puts it among the better-documented cards in the game.
The in-game description is the short version: “Unlocks a door in the J Kozma Ventures company building in Buried City.”

The entrance itself is worth recognising before you go up, because four floors is a long way to climb on a guess.

Finding the J Kozma Ventures building
J Kozma Ventures is one of Buried City’s branded locations, and its Space Travel premises is the building you want. Its interior is unmistakable once you are inside — the company’s own space-travel branding is all over it — which is a useful confirmation that you are in the right place before you start looking for the fourth floor.

Buried City itself is a sand-covered city with what the wiki calls “crowded villas” and “a sprawl of sun-bleached rooftops” — the rooftops are the fast way across it, and normally the quickest route to a specific building.

How to get the JKV Employee Access Card
Scavenging. The wiki lists that as the only source, and unlike some Buried City keys there is no quest attached to this one.
That distinction matters if you are trying to farm a specific key rather than hope for one. On this same map the Town Hall Key is also listed as a reward from the quest Our Presence up There, at one per completion — a known objective rather than a coin flip. (The wiki does not say whether that quest can be repeated, so treat it as one key per completion of a quest you may only get once.) The JKV card has no quest source at all, and no crafting recipe or trader purchase is documented for it either.
Is the JKV Employee Access Card worth carrying?
The numbers the wiki records, with the infobox fields checked against the page markup so the columns are not transposed:
| Field | Value |
|---|---|
| Rarity | Uncommon |
| Stack size | 1 |
| Weight | 0.25 |
| Sell price | 100 Creds |
All four Buried City keys weigh 0.25 and sell for 100 Creds regardless of rarity, so within this map the rarity label does not change what a key is worth. Whether carrying it beats simply selling it depends on what the room holds, and that is not documented — see below.
What is behind the door is not recorded. The wiki’s loot section for this card is empty, and we are not going to fill it with guesswork. If you want a target that is documented, every ARC Raiders blueprint location has one.
Every Buried City key compared
Four keys carry the Buried City name, and they are in very different states of documentation:
| Key | Rarity | Where the door is | Loot recorded |
|---|---|---|---|
| JKV Employee Access Card | Uncommon | JKV (Space Travel) building, north side, fourth floor | None |
| Hospital | Rare | Hospital, north-west corner, second floor | None |
| Town Hall | Epic | North side of the Town Hall, ground level | 2× Security Locker, 1× Weapon Case |
| Residential Master | Uncommon | “Several different locked doors throughout Buried City” | None |
The Town Hall Key is the best of the four on paper: Epic, a mapped ground-floor door, a recorded loot list and a quest that can hand it to you. The Residential Master Key is the opposite — it is the most-searched Buried City key by a wide margin, and its door description is one line that does not name a single building.
The JKV card sits in the middle, and its advantage is the climb being worth planning: a specific floor in a specific named building is something you can route to.
Getting onto Buried City
Buried City is the second playable map and the wiki states it unlocks after completing six rounds. That is early — for comparison, Stella Montis needs 24 — so this is a key room that is available to you well before most of the map pool.
One piece of trivia that helps orient you: signs around the city show it was originally called Marano before the Collapse, which is why some location names on the map do not match the “Buried City” label.
Nearby on Buried City
The other keys on this map: the Buried City Residential Master Key and the Buried City Town Hall Key.
Elsewhere, the Stella Montis Archives Key is the equivalent single mapped door on the snow map, and the Dam Control Tower Key is the one key that has both a mapped door and a recorded loot list. Riven Tides works differently again, using numbered hotel keycards.

Frequently asked questions
Where is the JKV Employee Access Card door in ARC Raiders?
On the fourth floor of the J Kozma Ventures building — the Space Travel premises — on the north side. That is the ARC Raiders Wiki’s mapping; Embark does not publish door locations.
How do I get the Buried City JKV Employee Access Card?
Scavenging only. There is no quest, crafting recipe or trader purchase documented for it.
What is inside the JKV locked room?
Not confirmed. The wiki’s loot section for this card is empty.
How much does the access card sell for?
100 Creds. It weighs 0.25 and does not stack, the same as the other three Buried City keys.
When does Buried City unlock?
After six rounds played. It is the second playable map.
Which Buried City key is the best one to hold?
On the documentation available, the Town Hall Key: it is Epic, its ground-floor door is mapped, its room has a recorded loot list of two Security Lockers and a Weapon Case, and the quest Our Presence up There can award it. We have no loot data for the other three, so this is a comparison of what is known, not of what the rooms actually hold.
