Scope of Authority Warbond release date and time
Arrowhead announced the Warbond on October 13, 2026 in a Steam announcement and a matching PlayStation Blog post. It arrived on October 20 as part of patch 7.2.0, whose notes list “the Scope of Authority Warbond” among the update’s additions.

How many Medals Scope of Authority costs, item by item
The Arrowhead announcements cited here do not list Medal costs. The figures below come from the community-run Helldivers Wiki page, which was updated after launch and no longer carries its pre-release warning.
| Page | Item | Type | Medals |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | R-40 Sightliner | Primary (marksman rifle) | 35 |
| 1 | G-11 Caltrops | Throwable | 35 |

| 1 | 100 Super Credits | Currency | 7 |
| 2 | AMW-20 Apex | Support weapon | 50 |

| 3 | Longshot | Title | 20 |
| 3 | 100 Super Credits | Currency | 32 |
Page totals are 162, 194 and 247 Medals, so clearing everything costs 603 Medals. For comparison, the same wiki lists 803 Medals to clear Ironclad Democracy, the previous Premium Warbond.
The wiki also lists Medals that must be spent before each later page opens: 120 for page 2 and 145 for page 3. It does not make clear whether the 145 counts from the start of the Warbond or from page 2, and its Warbond pages handle that figure differently, so we do not work out a minimum cost for any one weapon.
If you only want the guns, the Sightliner is on page 1 and costs 35 Medals once you own the Warbond. The Apex (50 Medals) waits behind the page 2 threshold and the Nova (110 Medals) behind page 3. Medals cap at 250 in your wallet, so plan to spend as you earn; our guide to farming Medals covers where they come from.

Arrowhead’s footnote says only that the Warbond “requires base game, Super Credits and game progression to unlock”. The community wiki lists it at 1,000 Super Credits, the same as other Premium Warbonds. Each of its three pages holds a 100 Super Credit reward, so you get 300 back as you work through it, for a net 700.

Every weapon in the Scope of Authority Warbond
The official overview graphic sorts the weapons into a primary, a secondary, a throwable and two Stratagems. Descriptions below are Arrowhead’s. It has not published damage or armour-penetration numbers, so none are given here.
R-40 Sightliner (primary, page 1)
A bolt-action sniper rifle that Arrowhead says fires armour-piercing rounds with long-range precision. It is the Warbond’s headline gun and the first weapon you can unlock.

P-44 Mist (secondary, page 3)
A one-handed machine pistol designed for compact carry. Arrowhead pitches it as the close-range backup for when enemies get past your rifle.
AMW-20 Apex (Stratagem, page 2)
A backpack-fed anti-materiel rifle with assisted reload. Arrowhead describes it as more powerful and better at armour penetration, aimed at the larger, heavily armoured enemies.

LAS-44 Nova (Stratagem, page 3)
A new LAS-series energy rifle with infinite ammo. It fires a high-precision, non-explosive thermal projectile after a short charge, and Arrowhead says a new cooldown routine keeps it firing for longer. At 110 Medals it is the most expensive item in the Warbond.
G-11 Caltrops (throwable, page 1)
When thrown, it scatters a wide field of proximity-detonated submunitions that slow and stun enemies.
Scope of Authority armour and the Stationary Shroud passive
Two armour sets come with the Warbond, and both carry the same new passive.
- SS-33 Mimetic Marshal (page 1) — light armour styled on a ghillie suit, paired with the Mimetic Mesh cape and player card.
- SS-15 Focal Point (page 2) — medium armour with adaptive camouflage and an asymmetrical visor, paired with the Boundary Banner cape and player card.
Arrowhead says Stationary Shroud reduces weapon sway and detection range while you are crouched or prone. It has not published how large either reduction is.

Other cosmetic rewards include an emote and the Longshot title, both on page 3. Arrowhead names the emote two ways: “Manual Ballistic Projection” in the announcement text and “Manual Ballistic Projection Protocol” on its overview graphic.
