Warzone gets its own Mastery Camos when Season 1 integrates Modern Warfare 4 on November 6, 2026. Parallax needs 5 kills in a match 300 times, Damascus Reforged needs 2 kills without plating 200 times, and Empyros needs 75 top-5 finishes with at least 6 kills. Each one opens only after the camo before it, starting from Divergence.

The challenge wording comes from Activision’s Warzone Season 1 overview of November 2. The grind is long. If you would rather not play the hundreds of matches yourself, our MW4 Warzone mastery camo service opens when Season 1 starts.

When Warzone Mastery Camos unlock

The Warzone Mastery Camo track arrives with Season 1, which Activision says goes live at 0000 ET on November 6 (2100 PT on November 5) on all platforms. The other times below are our conversion.

RegionSeason 1 start
Pacific Time (PT)9:00 PM, November 5
Eastern Time (ET)12:00 AM, November 6
UTC / London (GMT)5:00 AM, November 6
Central Europe (CET)6:00 AM, November 6
Japan (JST)2:00 PM, November 6
Sydney (AEDT)4:00 PM, November 6

From that point, all 33 Modern Warfare 4 launch weapons, plus the new Season 1 weapons, are usable in Warzone. Activision says each of them has its own Warzone Mastery Camos to unlock.

Activision says the Mastery challenges “can be completed with any weapon or combination of weapons.” You do not have to repeat the 300, 200 and 75 counts on every gun. The weapon-by-weapon work comes earlier, in the Military, Special and Completionist camos.

What you need before Parallax

The Mastery grind opens only after you unlock the Military, Special and Completionist camos for a weapon. In Activision’s wording, Parallax needs all Harmonic Break challenges done, and the Mastery 1 challenge appears once you have the Divergence Completionist camo.

  • Military and Special camos: the per-weapon base camos. In MW4 Multiplayer, the Military camos unlock as the weapon levels up, as our MW4 Military camos guide shows. Activision’s Warzone post does not spell out how the Military and Special camos unlock in Warzone. Our MW4 camos guide lists how they work in Multiplayer.
  • Completionist camos: Gold, Platinum, Harmonic Break and Divergence. Our MW4 Platinum camo guide covers the official Multiplayer rules.
  • Weapon type: only Modern Warfare 4 weapons count. Legacy weapons from Modern Warfare II through Black Ops 7 stay usable, but Activision says they do not support MW4 Mastery Camos.

Not confirmed: the Warzone post does not say whether Harmonic Break and Divergence earned in Multiplayer or DMZ open the Warzone track, or whether Warzone has its own Completionist challenges. Activision only says each MW4 weapon has “specific” Warzone Mastery Camos.

Parallax: 5 kills in a match, 300 times

Parallax is the first Warzone Mastery Camo and is animated. If each match counts once, that is 300 matches where you reach at least 5 kills. Activision has not said whether a 10-kill match counts twice.

Damascus Reforged: 2 kills without plating, 200 times

Damascus Reforged opens after the Mastery 1 challenge. You need two kills without putting on armor plates, 200 times. Activision does not define the exact window, such as whether a plate before the first kill resets it.

Empyros: top 5 with 6 kills, 75 times

Empyros is the final Warzone Mastery Camo. Each completion needs a top-5 placement and at least 6 kills in the same match, so it takes at least 75 matches. Activision does not say whether Resurgence and Battle Royale both count.

Other Warzone camos in Season 1

The Mastery track is not the only new camo grind in Warzone. Activision lists three other sources in the same post:

  • Grind for Royalty: personal challenges built from your own stats, reset every season. Season 1 rewards the “Gold Excellence” and “Gold Mosaic” camos, one static and one animated.
  • Return to Call of Duty: Warzone event: an in-game event with the “Renaissance” (animated), “Violet Striker” and “Neutral Ground” camos.
  • Rally Point: the new training mode on Zodiac has an exclusive weapon blueprint and two weapon camos. Their names have not been announced.

Weapon camos from MWII, MWIII, Black Ops 6 and Black Ops 7 will not be available in Warzone after the MW4 Season 1 integration. Our guide on whether Warzone camos carry over to MW4 explains what you keep and what you lose. For everything else changing on November 6, see when MW4 comes to Warzone.
